The entire design of the hotel, once inside, is amazing. Despite the building which looks very traditional from outside. It is possible to enjoy great food and cocktails at its own restaurant. We stayed there only one night to visit Louis II ‘s castle. But it was a great night. There is a private parking underneath. Staffs were all friendly.

Open bathroom in a room that is designed to sleep 4 people. Heavy polyester quilt, too hot for summer, with a fitted sheet that was a strange knitted fabric that was pilled, so it was not very comfortable. Flat feather pillows (not a specific criticism of this hotel, this seems a Germany wide hotel issue) Rooms are decorated in dark colours, and the whole hotel aims for an eclectic, funky style at the expense of quality bedlinen.

Excellent location, short walk from station, in the old town, fantastic breakfast. Very quiet rooms. Extremely clean. Our room was spacious and had a comfortable lounge. Air-conditioning that worked.

The rooms are huge, and the bathtub in the bedroom was such a fun added bonus. Who doesn't love a disco ball above your bed haha. The laundry was a surprise bonus, and it's FREE!. The staff was amazing. The carpark is very small, a challenge to park an SUV, but we managed. Walk to town Highly recommend.

A lovely hotel centrally located in the old town of Fuessen, just a few minutes drive from Neuschwanstein castle. We had a family room suitable for 4 people which was surprisingly spacious. Very good breakfast.

This was a surprisingly nice hotel. Everything felt brand new. The location couldn't have been better -- right at the end of the main pedestrian thoroughfare. (We had a car, so it would have been inconvenient if the hotel had been further down the walkway.)

This hotel was close to the bus and train stations and within walking distance of many of the attractions in the area. My room was small and clean. It had everything I needed. Staff were friendly and helpful. Be sure to ask at the desk for your Füssen card which is paid for by your city tax and gives you discounts in certain places and free bus transportation. Also, note the card in your room that says if you don't need housekeeping each day, you can get 8 Euros off in the restaurant. Above all, the breakfast is amazing! Go hungry.

Where our room was situated there was quite a bit of road noise. We needed the windows open as the room had no a/c.

The Hotel Sonne is located in the heart of Fussen so you can walk all around this charming little town while also having easy access to the castles. The staff was extremely helpful whenever we had a question or issue. The hotel itself was pristine and the facilities and restaurant all well done. Would definitely stay here again.

Good location, although situated on a round about so it was a bit noisy throughout the night. The decor is fun and opulent. The hotel offers so many little gems, and we returned to enjoy our evening in the outdoor bar space. It felt the place to 'be' in Fussen. You book into an experience, not just a hotel. The staff were outstanding, particularly at reception. A woman called Damariel was so helpful and made me feel so welcome. She went out of her way to assist with the parking. I'd recommend this hotel, and if I ever return to Fussen, I would love to stay here again.
