Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

NorwayThere’s no elevator which made it hard to get to the room having a baby stroller. Difficult finding the entrance from the road since they’re doing roadworks in front.
Simple and cheap. Nice automatic check in if you come late. Free parking on site. Clean.

NetherlandsMattresses were stiff and in the post summer season, the hotel is used by workers. They are quiet at night but, take a lot of alcohol with them after work. Sitting outside the hotel, drinking so much, gives the hotel a shabby impression. Also, the host is not the happiest man and a bit direct and not very friendly. But, what can you expect from a budget hotel...
Location is great for travel from Denmark down. Walking distance from Famila supermarket and McDonald's if you need a quick diner.

NorwayNice and helpful staff. When we had problems with the car and needed a place to store our luggage, we were offered a room for our luggage and could call when we needed to pick it up. (The hotel is closed for a few hours in the middle of the day.) Good breakfast, perfect place for an overnight stay on the road.

NetherlandsThe reception employee seemed to be in a bad mood/stressed because he was not very friendly at first. Additionally, you need to take into account that, if you have breakfast and the hotel is fully booked, you might have to wait. This is because, compared to the number. of guests, the breakfast area is very small. The breakfast itself is okay but, you have not much to choose from. You cannot check-in before 15:00 and even if the door is open, you are supposed to wait outside till check-in time. Between 15:00-17:00 it seems that you can only check-in via the check-in machine. Take notice that the shower is a bit small and that water may leak through the grip (opening in the glass shower door to open the door) down to the outside. Hence, direct the shower head away from the door.
The location is great for the route to Sweden. Beds were comfortable and the room interior seemed to be renewed recently.

GermanyLimited Public Transport: One downside is the struggle to reach the hotel via public transport, especially on weekends or bank holidays. The location is a bit off the beaten path, so be prepared for some inconvenience if you're relying solely on buses or trains. You may need to wait longer than usual or plan ahead for alternative transportation. Food Options: The food options were a bit limited, particularly in the on-site dining area. The breakfast area, though clean and adequate, felt a bit cramped and small, especially during busy hours. If you value a spacious dining environment or a variety of meal choices, you may want to explore nearby eateries.
I recently stayed at this budget hotel, and overall, it was a pleasant experience, especially if you're looking for a quieter location away from the busy city area. The setting is perfect for those who want to relax in a more peaceful environment without the constant noise and activity of a city center. The surroundings felt cozy and inviting, giving off a comfortable, homey vibe. Pros: Location: The hotel's location is its biggest selling point for those who prefer tranquility. Nestled away from the busy city, it's ideal for unwinding and getting away from it all. Value for Money: As a budget hotel, it offers reasonable rates, and for the price, the amenities are satisfactory. It's a great option for travelers who don’t want to break the bank. Comfort: The rooms, though simple, are cozy and clean. The bed was comfortable, and I was able to get a good night's sleep. However, if you're taller (around 6 feet or more), the blankets provided may feel a bit small, which could affect your comfort during colder nights. Wi-Fi: The Wi-Fi worked well throughout my stay, with good connectivity and speed, which is a huge plus for a budget hotel. Overall Experience: Despite a few minor inconveniences in terms of public transport, I enjoyed my stay. The hotel is a good option if you’re looking for a budget-friendly, peaceful place to stay. However, if you prefer convenience and proximity to the city or rely heavily on public transport, this may not be the best fit for you. For those with their own car or who don’t mind the slower pace, it’s a hidden gem that offers great value.
