Not everything was very clean. The water in the shower did not drain very good and some sinks needed to be unplugged as well. Also the bunk bed I stayed in made noises if one of us would move Besides that, it was all pretty good actually

Location was very nice! Not super close fo the center, but I definitely preferred being in this neighborhood, because I probably wouldn't have gone there otherwise. The ambiance was good and staff very kind. Basic kitchen utensils available and I loved the generous space made available for food to give away for when people couldn't finish it

Observed some dont wash their used utensils after using them immediately but so far very good!

Wi-Fi connection was poor, and when I asked about it, they acted like it was something unusual. After talking with other guests, I realized it’s a common issue. It bothered me that they just pretended nothing was wrong and didn’t do anything to fix it.

Clean and comfortable. I stayed in the women’s floor and it was great. The bathrooms are private, and the room was quite comfy. The kitchen is fully equipped. Microwave and some shared appliances were gross, though. They offer free ground coffee and tea. The common area is spacious, and there’s live music in the evenings.

It was very noisy every evening until midnight due to closeness to cafés, but is not possible to sleep with all the windows closed because it's summer and they don't have air conditioning.

People are nice, beds are comfortable and the bathroom and other common areas are cleaned. Around the hostel there are a lot of cafés/restaurants and also supermarkets.

My check in was not good, first i asked how to come and answer was check our website , really !!! , is it too hard to explain like every hostel And than i asked women to gave me a lower bed, their answer was nothing to do with (why hostels in germany do not gave numbers to beds) . My first day wasted because i had to waite till 3 pm to get bed (i have injury on my knee) If you are a smoker, they close the balcony after 8 pm —- There was a drunk guy in our room, first night he was screaming in night, than missing at second night, 3th night ow boy he peed everywhere , go up to 3th bed and jumped, he even peed to a ladies bed. We couldnt find anyone to help —- They gave you a code for locker but you can open it by phone lifght

Irish guy on reception is really helpfull , he stays and take care of everything on evening. Location is not far from center, just take bus number 3 from bus or train station (Don’t stay more than 2 days in Hamburg) Well in conclusion not bad not very good Free coffee and tea was nice

The internet was not getting connected at all in the rooms, I had to go to reception to connect to it.

I stayed in the corner dorm room and there is a club bar located right downstair which makes loud music with beats at night. I felt it difficult to sleep.

Common room and kitchen was very good area to relax. Free coffee and tea, fridge to store some small items, laundry&dry available upon request, the staff (especially the boss) was friendly and helpful. You may encounter some random music event if you’re lucky. No issue with wifi connection. Good location for exploring Schanze area and easy to access to city center with bus/train.

Essential furnitures of the rooms.

Great staff they arranged an easy and safe late check-in for me. Bathrooms are clean, the room at the second floor was quiet and large enough. Clean bed with clean sheets, comfortable enough. Rooms have a key which made me at ease. The hostel is in a very nice discrict.

The bed and the bed covers!!! The cover is really in bad condition and the feathers are sticking out. The bed sheets are very used with old stains, quite unclean...I know it is a cheap hostel but why they use the worst quality bed equipments....

The price is good! The female floor is really nice so you won't run into male even when the restrooms are outside the bedroom. The kitchen is a big one and is really convenient.

Vomit stayed in a sink,for two days ,before cleaning...Room mates not instructed in keeping the room door locked all the time...Especially during sleep...

Free coffee was a gamechanger, and pleasant surprise...Really important, for a backpacker,in a big ( expensive) city. Very nice and helpful personnel . Nice view and close to cheap food shopping/grocery stores. Free bedlinnen was sooo nice and convenient. I like to visit different places/hotels, but if not, I would stay at this Hostel again,for sure😎

Curtains are not wide enough, so they let in light. Some basics of a breakfast would be nice.

The main thing I would say is : despite a convenient and clean kitchen, what happened to those two microwaves ? I have never seen any in such a bad state anywhere. I was afraid to put anything in it. Would be good to consider a once in sometime deep cleaning...

This hostel has all the basic things you need in a hostel, where you need it. It's nothing fancy but it does what it says and is convenient. A FUNCTIONNING lamp and plug next to your bed, proper blackout curtains. (it's rare enough in hostels to be mentionned) The showers are ok, it's small individual bathrooms with a sink and toilet actually, it may seem trivial but this is so much more convenient than in many place where you have either the shower, the sink or the toilets. The kitchen is fine. The common area is quite nice, and there is a little outside if you wish (mostly for people smoking I would say). The neighborhood is a favorite of mine, the hostel is quite well located in a very lively area full of shops and restaurants, quite close to a station BUT the room was located in a way that it's actually pretty calm outside when there are no people in the outside area and I really enjoyed that. It's opening on an inside ''court'' and not the street.

bit hard to navigate the entrance when you first arrive but nothing too bad

i stayed in the 4 bed all female dorm and it was really nice probably one of the best hostels i've been to the staff was accommodating and nice it is located in a very good area if u like to party there are many many bars around
