Hard to avoid the sound of planes, but that comes with its proximity to the airport.

The hotel is close to Frankfurt Airport and you will hear some airplanes when sleeping with a window open. Something to consider. On the plus side of that, it is close to the Autobahn, so you will be back on the road in 10 minutes.

The restaurant is very goed, the beds are great and the scenery is very romantic.

Whilst the distance from Frankfurt airport was only 14kms, the taxi fares were 45 Euro each way. There is a bus which takes 40 minutes but was unable to see where you were able to catch it from Frankfurt airport. The photos of the accommodation looked more like a castle on the website not a hunting lodge.

The hunting lodge was built in the late 1690's and was a great experience to be in this accommodation. Both the restaurant on site and the breakfast were good. I was fortunate to have a private bathroom as well. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Be aware that it is close to the runway of Frankfurt airport, and along a busy road. Furthermore, the place is often used for weddings and other parties, so make sure to bring good earplugs.

The hotel is in three buildings that remain from an old hunting castle that dates back to the 17th century and is located in a nature zone, close to the airport of Frankfurt. The rooms are large, the beds are comfortable, and the WIFI is good. The old mill on the other side of the street has a beer garden with good food, and the breakfast was excellent.

Of course you hear the planes, although they do not fly betwee 2400h and 0600h so it isn't that much of a problem and it is very handy for the airport if you don't want to stay in a typical airport hotel. The only real problem was that my single bed in our twin room was more suitable for a child that a fairly large adult.

The hotel and it's surroundings are beautiful. We were there for a wedding and it was absolutely perfect. The breakfast is served from 0700h to 1130h and is very good. The staff could not be lovelier

We could hear water going down the pipes from upstairs, plus loud plane noise due to the proximity to airport (but we kind of expected that when we booked). The sleeper couch mattress was not very comfortable. So sleep was fitful. But we like it being close to the airport.

Mosquitoes but the management cant help it.

If you dig nature then stay here. One thing to consider though, the mosquitoes are rampant on rainy days (moist and damp) since it has water features around the property. Staff is superb, (Virginia, the back office staff, Iris ) I suggest though to book directly at the hotel website, and not via portal. To avoid mishaps. Other than that, hotel is great!!!

The continental breakfast which was laid out uncovered. Flys 🪰 were landing on the food so we gave thst a miss. We had bacon the only thing covered and a bit of bread . I wonder if someone could tell Germany that the English don't generally drink Earl Grey Tea!

The rooms were furnished with charming reproduction furniture. The location is a natural area of beauty and is very quiet
