Communication was smooth with the hosts, who were very helpful. We felt welcomed. We were so happy to have found Königsblick Poppler! Very clean. The rooms and amenities are well-thought out. We stayed in the room called Säuling Klein on the top floor. It was spacious for us two. The view from the covered deck over bucolic green countryside with mountains beyond them was fabulous, especially at sunrise. Very peaceful and private yet just minutes away by car from restaurants and groceries in Hopferau and Füssen. Comfortable bed. Large bathroom. Good soundproofing. Well-equipped kitchen. Windows and patio door were fitted with mosquito screens. Communal washing machine (with 2 euro charge). Local crafts and milk/cheese/yogurt/eggs/beer/wine etc available for purchase. Excellent facilities for families, including an outside play area and a large indoor recreation room (with foosball table etc). The patio door was extra-large, and was the best insulated patio door I have ever encountered. Though we visited in Summer this lodging would also be great in Winter.

We've had a great time in our 2 nights stay there during stormy weather. Huge balcony with views to green pastures, Alps, Neuschwanstein. Great bath and shower. Comfy main bed and nice rollaway bed with good pillows. Fully equipped kitchen. There are plenty of nice chairs, rocking chair, cosy blankets etc. Downstairs there is a shop with some basic stuff like cheese, ham, wine, beer, milk, tea etc..

It is starting to get warmer in the region. You can open the windows but, when it is hotter outside, it might be good to include fans in the rooms.

Cannot say enough good things about Königsblick Poppler. Stunning views. Awesome hosts. They go out of their way to ensure you are having a good stay. Beautiful apartments. Very comfortable beds. Very clean. So nice to have a washing machine to use! Ample parking. Glorious views from the large balcony. Lovely furnishings throughout. There are a couple of markets within a 10-minute drive, but the host also has a selection of groceries you can purchase there. Easy to get to the castles, great location for cycling and hiking. This was one of our favorite places we've stayed in all our travels!

Absolutely amazing views from the deck! The pull-out bed in the living room was very comfortable, as was the regular bed in the bedroom, and the kitchen was well-equipped. It has the feel of a vacation home. The facilities are new and being actively improved - the landlady was very kind and responsive when messaged through the Booking.com app.
