Attention needs to be given to the temperature of water in shower and washbasin. The water was cold when we arrived and wanted a shower after a long journey. In the morning the temperature was intermittent warm and cold.

Not much, just a minimal menu for evening meal so we went elsewhere.

Very clean and comfortable, garage to keep our motorcycles in overnight. Nice breakfast and pleasant dining area, great wine selection. Easy to find.

Breakfast was served in the Vinothek which is located in a building opposite the hotel. Delicious breakfast served at the table. The Vinothek turned into a cosy bar in the afternoon and evening. Small dishes available. Many good restaurants available at walking distance.

The combination with the vinotek was a bonus. Very good wine selection and a nice atmosphere. Room was good, with comfortable beds.

The hotel was beautiful, clean and in a great location next to the bus stop so we could get public transport to the Christmas Market in Monchau. There was ample free parking which was a bonus. Breakfast was included and was absolutely superb. We would definitely recommend this hotel, we would stay here again.

Lovely place.Friendly stuff. Clean and comfy room. Complimentary water and candies. Breakfast was served in the restaurant which is part of the location. Coffee, tea, buffet and freshly cooked eggs on your choice.

A lovely hotel with beautiful rooms in the centre of Simmerath. Breakfast was good, as was having the wine bar next door.

The only problem was the shower in the en suite because the water pressure was poor and the heat wasn’t constant.

Lovely hotel, very clean and comfortable. Modern bathroom. Comfortable beds. Breakfast was served in the Vinotek, plentiful and tasty. The staff were lovely and friendly and also spoke English when we struggled with our broken German. Definitely recommend.

We felt shampoo and body wash were rationed and the shower towels were very small certainly compared to similar quality hotels. Perhaps being overly critical

Closure of the restaurant after 2pm on Tuesdays isn’t so good but I guess they need a rest sometime

The rooms were really well presented, with a lovely en suite bathroom. All of the floors are solid wooden and the wardrobes and bed surround too being solid high quality wood. The breakfasts are very good together with the staff being really nice and really well trained. The hotel is near to other restaurants and cafes but the hotel restaurant is very good too.

New and well maintained room. Very clean. Good breakfast. Valuable for the trip with friends. I made a mistake in the reservation and counted 1 person less. The hotel service is very nice and add one person for free. The hotel bar is very nice. Lots of good wines.
