I recently stayed at the Maritim Hotel Stuttgart. Overall, it’s a nice hotel, but it does feel a bit outdated with an 80’s vibe. That said, the property is well-maintained and comfortable. The location is great—just about a 10-minute walk from the city center, which makes it easy to explore Stuttgart. One of the main reasons I booked this hotel was because of the swimming pool, which was a great feature. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout my stay, and the breakfast was fantastic—lots of choice and great quality. One downside was that during our visit, 3 of the 5 restaurants were closed, and we were really looking forward to checking out the piano bar, which unfortunately was also closed. That was a bit disappointing. If you don’t mind a slightly retro feel, this hotel still offers good value, excellent service, and solid amenities.

I love the hotel. Have been there any time. The only drawback is that It has been several years since the main door of the hotel isn’t working. Every day you have many people not being able to enter. There is no doorbell, there is no camera, there is no way to enter the hotel. They are aware of this problem and have not done anything to fix this in many years. I’m speechless that they deal with daily complaints of guests that way

Suite was in another building and had to walk over there . But connection was through a hallway with nice pictures so it was kind of nice

Swimming pool, lots of kids making a mess, parents should educate them better or maybe the hotel could make some different access specially for families We were no lucky, the sauna was under repair. Next time!! 😎

The location was a bit further from the station and main square than we would have liked. The walk back involved going through a grave yard! (There was a longer alternative route though)

Quadruple room we got didn't have actual double bed but a foldable sofa instead and extendable wall extra beds for kids so not really sleeping facilities for a hotel of this level.

They were renovating the whole floor we were staying. Room although very spacious and clean, was a bit old. Main reason we booked there was the sauna, but it wasn’t working

Propel were smoking in rooms near us and being asthmatic caused health concerns. We were also surprised to be in a corridor that was being renovated and there was dust on the floor covering.

The hotel is undergoing major renovations, on floors where hotel guests are accommodated. It is dirty and noisy. On weekdays, renovations start early - around 8 - 8.30 am. Due to the renovations, the ventilation to the bathroom is interrupted and the towels in the bathroom cannot dry. Also, on weekdays the breakfast is not as good and varied as on the weekend.

Good hotel, with a good location - within walking distance of the city center. Near the hotel there are metro and bus stops. The staff is very responsive and kind.

We had booked a classic double room at the full price and were initially given a room on the 7th floor of the Park wing. We were shocked, however, to find that the floor was in the midst of renovations and the corridor outside our room was blocked by machinery and tools. There was also dust everywhere despite the dust sheets. What bothered us most,though, were the cables and wires hanging down from the ceiling, which presented an obvious safety hazard. We were given an a different room on another floor when we complained, but find it hard to believe that we were given a room on a floor that would fail any health and safety inspection in its current state!

Peaceful location in walking distance from the city. Great breakfast!
