The only things I can think of is that I didn't know there was a toilet upstairs and kept using the one downstairs - maybe a sign on the door would be helpful. Some sounds carried throughout the hostel, but to be fair, that's understandable given the charm and age of the building. It didn’t ruin the stay, just something to keep in mind if you're a light sleeper or value extra privacy.

The staff were lovely - especially Christine! The location / neighbourhood was awesome - right up our alley (quirky, alternative, gritty, charming, etc.). The hostel was close to the river where people would sit and have drinks in the afternoon/evening - which was fun and added to the atmosphere of the neighbourhoods. Lots of bars and places to eat around the area and some great vintage clothing stores. The room we stayed in was even better than the photos.

Dorm was a bit smelly due to some guests keeping their shoes in the dorm. Shower switched from hot to cold, no constant temperature.

Good location, nice home-like property. Lock on the cabinet which is useful to keep valuables. Many amenities in the shower which was nice.

if you’re a fan of loft space and want to feel freedom while staying in Berlin you should definitely choose this hostel. I was in Berlin for exploring the city but sometimes I was catching myself thinking about staying inside for longer - that’s how good it was! and the bathroom downstairs! Only very minor complaints; the lock on the front door was a bit finicky (or possibly it was a skill issue), and the temperature in the dorm was a bit on the cool side for my taste.

The hostel was small and cosy, the aesthetic was clearly something the staff had put thought into, the decor looked very fresh and timeless. Everything was very clean, the kitchenette had multiple flavours of tea available (and coffee I guess but I didn't drink coffee), the staff and the other guests were all very friendly. The location was very good for my purpose and in a very beautiful part of the city, peaceful enough but with plenty of cafes and restaurants and grocery stores around.

Would recommend this place! Perfect location, nice quiet and as a solo-female traveller felt really safe. The staff was super chill and friendly, and alltogether very helpful. I stayed for a week and it really felt like a temporary little home. Also extending the stay was super easy and at least at this time of the year, there was a lot of space and I think only 1 night all the beds were full. The location is fantastic, in the heart of Neukölln. Also there is a outdoor market every tuesday and friday almosy right when you step out of the door beside the canal. Thank you, will be coming again!

The space is not staffed accept at the check in window of 930 to 1pm. I felt lucky to get in at a time when there was someone there and it was no issue that the beds were not ready. It's a small hostel pf 6 beds and 2 double rpoms so it was perfect as it felt spacious and it was definitely quiet. (except for a super brash guest who came from another planet and woke everyone up at 1am because she didn't have an adaptor to charge her phone and she had to keep the light on because she can't sleep in the dark. We graciously tolerated her drama). I had a pleasant read in the common space and the toilets and showers were adequate for my use. The bed reminded me of staying in tatami rooms in japan. Very comfortable. On Tuesdays and I think Fridays there is a open air market that has cooked food, trinkets, produce, coffee with a great vibe. I was lucky to stay on the right day and got myself some artisan cheese from heritage cows.

Very peaceful hostel with a tidy dorm room. The location is superb, with a lovely street market on Tuesdays and Fridays nearby, together with U Bahn station 5 minutes walk away.

The only downsides were a lack of soundproofing (could hear every noise from the bathroom downstairs, kitchen, and other guest rooms) and poor pillows.

Very clean and cozy room. The hostel had a nice layout and there were sufficient toilets and bathrooms for all the guests so that you never had to wait. The kitchen is well supplied with dishes, tea kettle, etc. that you need for a short stay. Great location near the U-Bahn in a quiet residential neighborhood.

You have to be considerate to other people as it’s a shared place. Earbuds are highly recommended, in case someone is a snorer...

The place was perfect for me as a solo female travel for 2 nights. The common area and bathroom are super clean, it feels like it’s being cleaned daily or even twice a day. Checkin was smooth, location is good, and the bike rent was the icing on the cake! For a dorm, its value is definitely worth it.

As feedback for improvement, I’d just say that the outlet by the bed near the window, down at the bottom, is a bit far, so I couldn’t use my phone while it was charging.

The girl who helped me with the Check In was very nice and helpful. The room, facilities, and location, were good value for money. I would stay there again if I travel to Berlin for a couple of days.

Do take note the bed is a bit lower on the ground, so it may be difficult for those with mobility issues ! There also isn't a kitchen, so I think having one would've made this the perfect hostel. I also wasn't sure if the.washing machine is open to guests, but the Laundromat that fit my needs was a 17min walk away.

Minimal Hostel was probably my favorite accommodation throughout my 2 month trip. All the staff were really friendly and nice, the room is quite big and each dorm bed gets a ton of space around it. Being a smaller hostel, I also found it really easy to meet people and hangout given there's so much to do in Berlin as well. The nicest thing I'd say would be the location. It's fairly close to the U8 U-Bahn and the walk through the neighborhood is pretty lovely and feels safe as well even at night. So many cafes, restaurants, thrift stores, and Spatis nearby as well as a canal to sit down and have a beer. On certain days of the week, there's even a market at the canal with cheap produce, food, and handmade goods. It's on the more East Side of Berlin, which seemed to be the more artsy, young, and alive part of town. The East Side Gallery is about a 30 minute walk away, but the atmosphere makes it feel much shorter.

Unfortunately, there is only one toilet for the guests to use. Luckily, there was queuing needed to use it.

The hostel is very clean and organized. There is enough space in the dorms and common area. Easy check-in and luggage storage possibilities. The bathroom is located underground and resembles more of spa type furnishings.

I just had to use the hostel for a quick shower! But it was so easy to deal with the staff even though I didn't meet them as I arrived very late. Just a very easy transactional process, no hassle. Beds looked lovely, clean and comfy. For a no hassle stay it's ideal. Bathrooms are great.. nice little touches added. Thank you.

Really homely feel to the hostel with lots of nice touches eg slippers to wear indoors, great little kitchen and seating area. Toilet right outside room and another in shower area. Two showers and somewhere to put clothes when showering. Personal hanging space and drawer with padlock for valuables.
