The servicing of the rooms leaves something to be desired. As in many hotels, the shower has those squeeze bottles mounted on the wall, where you get body wash, shampoo and conditioner. Except that in my room there was only one bottle (body wash). I found strange, but did not complain first time. just one night, right? Then, the toilet paper only had a few sheets on it. Yes, there was a spare roll outside, but, I mean, is anyone even checking? I returned to the same hotel on my way back (different room). Now there were the 3 bottles in the shower, but there was no soap left in the bottles mounted near the bathroom sink. Fully empty. I asked the reception for replacement, and instead I was given 2 of these old-style mini bottles...of shampoo. Which I used to wash my hands, but, for a 4 star hotel, there should be more careful checks of the levels of amenities once the room is prepared for the next guest.

As a frequent business traveler I have realistic expectations about what good airport terminal hotels need to be. This one met some of these. It is really close to the terminal, just across the road. It has a reception open for when you arrive late at night. It has to provide breakfast from early in the morning. It has to have a decent level of comfort. The Movenpick met all of these expectations. The room was spacious, had the basic amenities, the shower was strong, everything was clean. It has a little kiosk where you can buy late night snacks. The breakfast was somewhat overpriced (as for most hotels) but not terribly so, and had good variety. One thing to note is that there are 2 Movenpicks in close proximity of Stuttgart Airport. This review refers to the one closest to the terminal (as I said, just across the road). The second one is not very far, and can also be easily reached by a short walk.

Absolutely perfect location for travelers flying in/out of STR. S-Bahn/U-Bahn stations for quick access to plenty of food options in Echterdingen and other sweet nearby villages are totally invaluable. Would *absolutely* recommend.

Price is a bit high , but the hotel is very clean and service is great and the main advantage is the very close distance to the airport.

Good hotel for plane spotters and everyone who needs direct access to the airport. From there its 20 second by foot to the Terminal building. If you ask for a runway view you get to see departing planes.

My grievance was the pricing of the Breakfast Buffet. I am not a big eater at breakfast usually a savoury slice of bread and a piece of cake or equivalent and filter coffee. To pay 24 EU if ordered the day before or 33 EU on the day seems exorbitant. To be given the alternative of Mc Donald at the airport building across the road is an insult. To drive to town for breakfast raises the question of why staying at this Hotel in the first place and not at one in town! For you as Moevenpick this may not be a big issue but for me it is. Will I ever come again? May be I'll try it one more time if there is a policy change. Oswald Biribauer

Eliminated soap bottles in bathrooms, now only have small tubes good for no more than 5 to 6 washes; I haven't stayed there in 8 years but something happened because it was very crowded and busy before, now it's creepily quiet and empty

Gym needs more and better equipment, at least one more treadmill. Some days I had to remind the front desk to ask house keeping to get rid of empty water bottles and to refill the nespresso capsules for the coffee maker, not a big issue though as it was promptly sorted. Apart from that all good.

This is the 3rd time I've stayed at this hotel for the same annual work trip. During a busy work trip, I know that so far, this hotel always provides high standards of comfort, staff, cleanliness and food (breakfast and in the restaurant/bar for dinner or snacks) and is in a great location for the messe but also to get a metro into the city centre or a bus to one of the lovely surrounding 'villages'. Staff are always quick to help if there are problems. The rooms are nice size, stayed in a King room this time. Good for working, chilling etc the shower was powerful, robes also provided. The only thing and it's a small thing as despite it being next to the airport there are lots of pedestrian tracks to run in the surrounding area, but they need to update their gym equipment, adding at least one more treadmill. Other than that, all good. The Wifi also worked very well and is included as it should be!

Parking is on site but a bit of pricey.

Well equipped room, very comfy bed. Spacious bathroom with nice amenities. Breakfast is the best throughout our trip, with lots of choices of high quality food.
