To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

GermanyThere was a light broken, although it was fixed soon later. The toilet lid was also broken. The room service wasn't thorough. The floor wasn't clean from day 1. They only gave us 2 waters every day even though we're 3 people. The second day they didn't clean the room at all or change the towels we left on the floor. Drinks and snacks cost extra, which we had to ask to find out. They don't tell you. Coffee and tea was for free, but they don't always restock.
The location was perfect. Right next to the train station, and the sound proof was great. The gym was good.

NorwayHowever, we were somewhat disappointed with the room assignment. Despite being on the fourth floor, the view from our window was uninteresting. This was a minor drawback to an otherwise enjoyable experience.
Our stay at your hotel was overall quite pleasant. The location was excellent, the room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. We were delighted to find that our room included a bathtub, which was a nice addition to our stay.

GermanyThe bathroom has hair on the floor once checked in. Table lamp was unplugged under the table, later on found out that the lamp couldn’t turn it off except to unplug it under the table, so every time had to go under the table on the floor. The round rug in the room is a bit disturbing, since it’s so thin, when moving the chair or I passed by always rolled the edge up. The information of billing was bit confusing, upon checked. In, he said I’d get my bill through booking.com, but when I asked the platform then it’d get it from the property. At the end I got it, but could give way to be smoother.

Just Infront of the main train station, walking distance to everything. Reception stuff we’re trying to do all what they can to make our stay good Room is accommodated with mini bar, coffee machine and kettle Bed very comfortable. SingaporeJust to share feedback- House keeping only made-up bed. Our used glasses and coffee cups are left on same spot, unmoved & not washed. Changed both face towels but no replacement. No replacement of one daily complimentary bottle of water on day two. I simply can’t find the directory guide to call your front office from room, I may have missed.
Great buffet breakfast spreads, yummy. Location: perfect if arrival by Train, Just walk over from the train station. Front office duty staff was friendly during check-in.

HungaryHotel (and parking house) are located within a low emission zone that requires a special sticker to be purchased if you don't want to be fined. When asking about parking, the hotel forget to mention this and we only realized it an hour before checking in. Luckily TÜV provided the sticker immediately after paying the fee for it.
Location was absolutely perfect even if there was contructions nearby. Parking house was easily accessible from the hotel, only a few minutes away. Breakfast was nice and plentiful with one waiter offering some extra juice or dessert. Room was spacious and comfortable

ItalyThe soap dispenser in the bathroom was nearly empty already when we arrived and it didn't get a refill in the next days. We asked for 3 single beds and we got a room with two double beds. The socket next to the sofa bed didn't work at all.
Excellent location, the hotel is really close to the train station and just 10 minutes away from the city center. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was quiet and clean, with really comfortable beds.
