How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The little shop was very expensive. The hotel is a bit of a walk from the train station which is tricky with luggage but overall not a huge problem.
The room was spacious and comfortable. I like that the bed was firm and had a good rest.

No milk in the coffee machines. No kettle or microwave in the room. Anything exciting or cozy in the entrance.

We stayed in a room as three people, but there were only two beer glasses, two wine glasses, and a small bottle of water in the room. I would have expected the room to be adjusted according to the number of people at least. When I asked if it was possible to have something hot to drink at reception, I was given the kettle, a cup, and a tray with couple of tea😬 Shouldn't these things already be in the room?
The rooms were clean, the staff were friendly.

The restaurant for dinner was an absolute disaster. We ordered the food, and after an hour and a half, it was still not delivered. When we asked, they apologised and informed us that the kitchen had some problem and that it would arrive in 10 minutes. When we received the food, it was very salty. We, along with other guests, complained. We were then served the food, but it was cold. The next evening, as we were too tired to go out for dinner, we decided to eat at the restaurant. As we sat down at the table and waited for the waiter to take our order, we saw a couple on the following table who had just received their meal. The couple had a bite of the food and puked. When we enquired them, they said the food was terrible. We left and went to near by Indian restaurant where it was palatable and warm.
I liked the great service offered by the receptionist.

I understand there was a function but we went to the restaurant when the wedding was over and the service was horrible. Staff nowhere to be found. Waiting long periods to order or to pay. Nit very friendly staff

There was a lack of local shops open past 8pm.

Wifi, Cleaning Staff
The property is alright and situated a bit far from the center. The stay is comfortable but the staff could be a little more attentive to the cleaning process. Everytime we came from our trip we didn’t find our rooms clean. The staff won’t pick up the garbage from the room, the sheets were not taut etc. Wifi was another problem as it was too slow. Apart from that hotel has free parking.

Room needed detail vacuuming, and rooom was missing few more AC/DC plugs and lights... Other than that, all else was ok...
Location, buses 263 and 264 go every 5-10 minutes to the nearest U-bahn station...Room was spacious, and staff at the reception was very polite.Also, there was plenty of parking lots available in front of the hotel, and nearby...

The kettle, cups, and coffee are not provided in the room by default, but must be ordered separately at the reception via an app.
Ample buffet breakfast, good spa, comfortable beds, nice room. The hotel is very beautiful and imposing, nice staff.

Room basic with no toiletries except shower cap. Had to request. Mattress a little too hard. Had to change sides when sleeping on sides as hurt hip bones. Could do with another layer of comforter between sheet and mattress. Otherwise all was good

For someone touring Munich, it is quite a bit out of the way, and it takes quite long to walk to the train station, and catch a train to get there. The check-in was not friendly at all. The young lady at the desk was quite stark and too buisness-like and not at all friendly and welcoming. The young man who helped her seemed to be very new and not very well informed about how to get around the area and get tickets for the train and bus. This should be something that is either known by the front desk or at least printed out for guests to refer to. The dinner selection at the restaurant was very limited, requiring us to walk quite a ways to find a decent restaurant.
The room was large (for European standards) and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, offering a large selection of hot and cold foods.
