The check-in time states 3pm. However, the room was not (nor were a few other guests' rooms). I did not get into my room until just before 4 pm.

The hotel was cheap so don't expect luxury. The bed was comfortable, and the shower worked OK. Breakfast was pleasant with an assortment of food. It is in a location where you can get to different parts of the city on foot.

Car parking is a serious joke: we got there from England with no space for the car and had to risk leaving it in a loading bay as there was nowhere on the street. When we finally paid for a space for our remaining 2 days, found there are 7 pokey spaces tucked down a very tight alley, which staff block with 4 cars on a daily basis, which resulted in us being stuck in our parking space at the very end of the horribly tight car park, risking scratching our car. For €22 per day, we do NOT expect to be trapped in by staff cars which wasted a good half hour of our day having to ask reception guy to get them to move, which ended up being a chaotic mess due to the difficulties moving cars in and out. I spent the whole breakfast the next day stressing if we would again be blocked in and risk our onward journey being delayed. When you pay for a service, you don’t expect to be met which such difficult and stressful circumstances, and such a relaxed attitude about it ‘just being the colleagues’ cars’ which clearly happens on a regular basis, again is not acceptable. We received no apology for this upheaval and a refusal of a refund until the manager would be on site, which again when we needed to leave early was not helpful or compassionate in the slightest. Secondly, the lady at breakfast was both unhelpful and impolite- she did not greet us with a smile or any words when we entered the breakfast room, offer coffee or give us seating instructions. When my friend asked her for help with the Nutella machine, she responded with a hostile comment about the cup she had chosen to use for water and ignored the question. My friend felt chastised for using the wrong glass and had the glasses for water been placed in view (as opposed to hidden under a dark, black cabinet), she would have been able to use the ‘suitable’ glasses. But she had asked the staff member for help about something completely unrelated!

Distance to city on foot Food served at breakfast was tasty Friendly man at reception although not ultimately able to do much to help us Family room was a good size Beds comfortable

Lift was old so temperamental, no really suitable for anyone with mobility issues. Unless cash for vending, had to venture outside for drinks, bathroom had no doors on shower, lights in room never worked very creaky and heavy doors meant you heard everything, description amd pictures are not what you actually get.

The front desk guy was amazingly helpful and friendly, made us feel welcome. Breakfast hours were great 7 to 11.

No coffee machine in room Hairdryer not working On arrival (late at night) informed no room for us. Offered choice of another hotel - 1 too far away for full duration of our stay and one central for one night in two single rooms. Hotel we chose was amazing. Taxi provided to & from hotel but in honesty would have preferred to stay in the other hotel.

Room was dated but clean. Comfortable beds, good shower.

Very tired hotel, needs refurbishment. Carpets walls, bed frames all in poor state. We had a problem with a very noisy radiator that intermittently kept us awake. We reported and it was much better the 2nd night. Room very small, chair was so near bed impossible not to stub toe! Reception not very engaged, sat with earbuds and on phone 2 mornings. Not able to help with a simple train enquiry.

Breakfast was very good, however the pictures of breakfast online showed fresh fruit and muffins. Others asked and were told there was none. Lift was good for 3rd floor. Area near 2 christmas markets and a train station, supermarkets and shops.
