Great for youth groups and energetic oldies - all the facilities you would expect for a 'youth hostel' - very enjoyable.

Came by bus. There will be a bus back either 5:30pm or 6:30 and then 9:30pm the last one. That doesnt give you much options to go back, that was sad for me. Mattress was bad. Beds next to each other and no privat sphere, as I was the first one in the room the receptionist understood that I was uncomfortable and made a girls room out of it. Wouldnt want to sleep next to a stranger. Depends what you are looking for in a hostel

Tiefenbach in general nice, not too far away from Oberstdorf. Good restaurant next to the hostel, 4 min walk to bus stop. Breakfast was good, even vegan option and lots of things. Clean and big bathroom, looker in room and nice furniture or atmosphere in general. Didnt cook myself but kitchen looked good with lots of equipment

Comfortable. Great views and location. Room was a bit small and the water from the shower was not draining properly. Breakfast was good. Very courteous staff.

The Hostel is located next to bus stop. Very good staff at reception. We have used a common kitchen for preparing dinner which was very convenient. Breakfast was good.

The washroom didn't have amenities like hand wash, so it is recommended to bring with yourself. Otherwise you have to buy it from the Hostel. The washroom didn't have the system to lock also from inside.

The location is great with the near vicinity to Breitachklamm, the facility is economically viable, the breakfast is also standard.

The road repair is now over. There are many cars and fewer cyclists on the road. The hourly bus at the weidach stop is reliable.

I like the low price and meet people who are interested in nature. This is a good location to start several Wanderungs and sight viewing.

Its only 5 Minutes to the city by car. You could also take the bus. The Breakfast was nice and the rooms were good to. You had good WIFI and nice, helpful Staff. Would recommend.

The only problem is the bus 44 schedule. Yes the first bus do come at 0726 Uhr to the city. However the next next only comes around 1055 Uhr not in schedule after skipping the 0825 0906 1006 1030 Uhr Bus. This brings un comfort condition if I start to wait my bus since 0900 Uhr. I understand bus 44 has a complex route and the bus company do not want to say they skip three buses in the morning then again 5,6,7 PM bus the only bus come is the last one at 2134 Uhr. I hope the hotel can inform her guest in the right way. We do not mind walking but misinformation is not good from the bus company.

The experience staying at the hostel is good. It is in a good location with lots of hiking opportunities. I enjoyed my stay and meeting people with similar interests. The meals are healthy and the breakfast gives me a good start.

We reserved a room for two, but there was a third bed on top of our beds that was a bit uncomfortable.

Breakfast abundant and tasty, the terrace of the room very nice and could be connected with the terrace of our friends. The bed was very comfortable, everything very clean and the staff very nice. Excellent discovery, we will come back in winter. The common areas were very good, especially the TV room where we watched a game of the EM.

Value price is incredibly good and with breakfast!. Very good for families and group of friends. The facility had many things you can get distracted of such as kicker tables, play station, boardgames, etc. The location was beautiful and can be accessible with public transport.

A bit uncomfortable to sleep next to a stranger. Why are the beds in a dormitory room arragned next to each other?

Clean, recently renovated rooms. The room and the bathroom were small but did not feel cramped. The staff was exceptionally nice. I would stay at this hostel again.

They did not do a good job of cleaning the snow from the parking area and walkways.

The staff was very nice and accommodating. They opened breakfast early so our kids could eat before their race. They did not have to do that, but it was much appreciated.
