I received a room at the 3th floor,not allowed to use the lift between 22pm-06am,the room very very small and hot,almost can't breathe, WiFi doesn't work

If I’d known there was no 24 hour reception , I wouldn’t have booked it because after 1.30pm no one there at all. There is a sign to say if any problem call , so I did but the person who answered only spoke German and when he knew I didn’t speak German, he hung up, so what’s the point and no disrespect but English is the international language. Thank goodness Jaffa when there in mornings had very good English

It was comfortable and good central location and a plentiful breakfast . The main thing that was good was Jaffa , the Lebanese man that is there at reception until it closes at 1.30pm. He really is the best part of the hotel and would do well in a 5* hotel. Multilingual, helpful and had empathy with my friend with me who has a disability. Can not praise him enough

The checkin was not that easy. There is a self checkin machine that did not work. I had to call a number but the person was not able to speak english. Finally some from the welcome desk came out and helped me, that the full process did not make a nice welcome.

Terrible uncomfortable bed on solid base.one old awful pillow, small kettle but no coffee cup or coffee. Tv mainly shopping channels. Need a better set up,no bedside just small fixed bed. Room always smells of sewage Location dark and badly lit

Breakfast was good but not very varied. Little interaction with the hosts, there is no one to welcome people when they arrive. The check-in machine, although very useful, makes the experience very impersonal.

No manned reception, contacting the management can be slow.

Convenient location close to the city center and the train station. Single room accommodation is ideal for a short work trips. The property is kept nicely clean in common areas and rooms.

No human contact in the hotel / the automated machine is barely working the bed barely comfortable / door of the shower was broken, no very clean. Super expensive for a low level of comfort

The check in post afternoon is through a machine, we checked in late at night and the machine failed leading to some tension among 3 separate check ins who were delayed due to trains. This got resolved only because someone could be reached on WhatsApp from the support team (which could be a risk for some people). The room is really small and the attached bathroom too isn't too big. The lift is a tiny one too and would be a problem for anyone having heavy bags to get around.

The location of Hotel Austria is convenient within walking distance of the train station and shopping areas/city centre too not far away. The breakfast is laid out in a spacious hall on the 1st floor and the spread is reasonable. The linen was clean and fresh.

We booked for a double bed, the one we had was smaller than the one in the picture.They said the room was insulated but we could hear all the noises, especially the bang of the doors at night that were quite loud and scared us in our sleep.

The check in was super easy. The room was clean and the breakfast was essential but pretty fair.

The price is quite high for such level of accommodation, but there isn't much choice anyways. Somebody was slapping the doors very loudly in the middle of the night, but that's not the hotel's fault - just mind that the rooms are not really sound-proof.

Self check-in is fast and convenient. The room and the facilities are ok for a one-night stay in the city center - for a longer stay you'd want more comfort. Breakfast was ok too - nothing special but enough to keep you going. Don't expect much - it's a budget option

The room had a weird smell. I sprayed perfume, but it didn’t help for long. It smelled like stale cigarettes and maybe mildew? The reception area, the halls, and the room were all dingy and lackluster, as if they were coated in a film of smoke.
