Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

It was very warm and there were no air conditioning. There was fan but not powerful enough. Kitchen facilities were not as good as expected. Couldnt find english TV channel.
It was very clean, comfortable, and had a great hot shower.

The kitchen facilities were outdated. It is very helpful if the hotel will provide paper towels, dish washing gel and sponge. It is not worth purchasing them while you are visiting short-term.
The hotel was clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Kitchenette was extremely small and not fit for purpose. No daily housekeeping, was missed even after request.
It was close to public transport, bed was comfortable.

Our only issue was that we found the room hot and we couldn’t find out why as the heaters weren’t on, we stayed in winter and slept with the window open.
We had a great stay the rooms were simple but comfy and the location is great there is a tram stop at the end of the road and a train station just a little further along. The staff were great and most had a great level of English which made any interactions seamless.

Water, plus tea and coffee in the room would have been great. Scared to use the stove because we did not want to set off the fire alarm

The room was stuffy and airless. It had a funny smell that didn't leave even with the windows opened. The kitchenette was too small and there were very few equipments.
The location was good. Both the tram line and the metro station were quite close. We wanted to do an early check-in. The staff was helpful about that. We payed extra 20 euros and checked in at 10 am.

It was almost as if our room hadn’t been serviced? We booked for three and arrived to only 1 towel, no soap and no dishwashing liquid for the kitchenette. We were also missing the fan for our room. Very bizarre so wonder what else we were missing.
The staff were absolutely outstanding and were able to fulfil every request we had. Huge thank you to them.

Kitchen ia almost no existent (just a cook and a dishwasher insides a wall cabinet It’s not fair to say these rooms have a kitchnet. One person from the staff (the one in charge) almost discouraged me to cook as I could do smoke and activate the fire alarm. The kitchenware was also very poor, had to ask on reception for more things, and had to search in all rooms to try to provide me the minimal. Cleaning only up on request.

No air condition in the room. No breakfast included. Must go around to buy one coffee. No slipers in the room. Rooms need small renovation.
Room clean. Reception desk 24/24. Employee very helpful, polite and sociable. I stay in 3 bed room. Enough space Area around hotel very nice. Not crowded. 2-3 restaurants, 2 coffee shops, and near hotel. One building in construction in front of hotel. During day is noisy

The rooms were old and not very clean. Kitchenette should have tea and coffee items. Corridors should be kept clean.
Like kitchenette and spacious room. location is peaceful and quiet. Price was decent. There were no aircon but was provided with a fan.
