The breakfast was great for such a small hotel. We really missed nothing. Having family members to visit, we did not have the topics most tourists have, but I like the town and the castle and the ancient town centre definitely are worth a visit. So is the Rothsee, part of some artificial lakes in the region, which is worth a visit anyway. We liked the hotel which was old-fashioned in a good way. Pay etc. was up to date, the rooms were romantic and "retro" without letting us miss anything.

This hotel is in a historic location dating back to the 16th century (but the hotel proper is a little younger than that). Facilities are modern and tastefully renovated. Located in the middle of town with everything in walking distance. Well worth a visit!

Note that the rooms are on the smallish side due to the historic nature of the place. Their charm more than makes up for the size, though!

Hotel is located in the center of very beautiful medieval town and is itself from the same period. It is beautifully we have arranged with very spacious rooms and bathrooms. Although we have arrived at hotel very late, after reception, working hours, and without notifying owners about our late arrival, they have made extra effort and woke up for us, open the door and give us room.

We stayed in this hotel for one night only - en route - onto our next destination during our road trip. The staff was very friendly, the hotel was really nice, super dog-friendly (massive bonus) and the hotel room was very comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the spacious bathroom and the breakfast as well.

We specifically requested a baby cot when booking the room and when we arrived at 23:00, ready to go to bed, there was no cot. The staff acted quickly and it was eventually sorted but it would be nice if the hotel paid more attention to the guest's requests, especially when you have a 2 years old child who really wants to sleep after a long journey and there's no bed!

Beautiful location, beautiful house and rooms right in the center of a lpretty town. Had BBC world news, which came as a welcome surprise.

I wish there were a simple breakfast option of just coffee and yogurt or bread. The only current option there is, is a buffet for 10 euros. If one just wants to have a roll and coffee, that is a steep price to pay.
