How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Disadvantage is the car park. It's very narrow and with very limited space. Single room was fine, but there is no airco. The church is opposit of the hotel so you will hear the bell from time to time.
3rd time I stayed in this hotel now. Always good quality. This summer I had diner outside on the terras which was realy enjoyable. The breakfast is good and service is excellent. I will stay again

Our room had a bizarre shower cubicle which had a nearly 40cm step to get into it. Anyone with mobility issues would have a real problem.
Great central location albeit directly opposite a church with very loud bells!! (Bring earplugs) Very friendly staff with a warm welcome. Room was clean and in good repair.

This was very central, close to bars and shops. We stayed on a Sunday so the hotel restaurant was not open but they suggested the Cafe Centra Bar which was excellent. The room was of a high standard and a very good breakfast was available. There was secure bicycle storage.

If you are looking for the great hotel in Coesfeld - then Haselhoff should be your choice. Staff is very supportive and speaks English. You can park your car on the street which is quite pricey but remember you are in the city center. Hotel itself id high quality and clean - I cannot complain at all. Best things - breakfast. I really enjoyed them.

The hotel is located in the middle of town and can be reached easily. Late check-in was accommodated without a hitch. The room was large and the bed was very comfortable, especially for a tall person. There is a large German breakfast buffet.

We really enjoyed our stay at this super family run hotel in the town centre. The room was very comfortable, and the bathroom was large and new with a fantastic shower. Everything was spotlessly clean. We really liked the excellent breakfast, sadly they were fully booked for dinner but it looked very good.

Church with a bell next to the hotel:)
Extremely nice staff! Very helpful and kind. The restaurant was very good and the breakfast plenty to choose from. We booked half an hour before arrival since we needed somewhere to stay while travelling and it was getting late. The staff was very helpful to get us both a room, parking and a great dinner.

the hotel is located in the middle of the town, close to the pedestrian streets. We were able to store our bikes safely for the night in a close garage. The bedroom and bathroom were spacious and clean. The breakfast buffet was delicious. We booked a table in the restaurant area and we enjoyed a very good evening with delicious seasonal dishes. Very professional and friendly staff. A very good address.

This was a gem to find. The restaurant was amazing! Best schnitzel I’ve ever had in my life! The staff were all kind and so helpful. Location was perfect but be sure to stop in the church next door. It’s famous and I had no idea until afterwards when I went back. I would stay here again. Breakfast was spectacular too. Thank you everyone. You made my stay wonderful!!!! I’m so grateful to each of you for your warm welcome and kindness.

Coesfeld!! No bars and very few food options in town. Ended up walking around for an hour looking for somewhere then ended up back at the hotel for lunch as nowhere else to go!
Room was perfect. Clean and very comfortable. Food in the restaurant was also excellent. In fact, a great hotel that was not expected in Cosefeld having never before been in a German town with no bars open on a Saturday afternoon! Would happily stay in the hotel again if it wasn't located in this town!

Everything was perfect.
The Owner, his wife are exceptional people and made sure to make sure we felt welcome and comfortable. Such friendliness and hospitality. We have never had service like this in the UK. The staff are wonderful too, all friendly warm and welcoming..... The food was magnificent, fresh and tastes like it is made with love
