It had no air conditioning, and it was extremely hot. It also lacked hooks for towels. The check in was terrible because no one was there to greet us. It took 15 minutes for someone to travel to the hotel to check us in. They did not speak English or have any signs in English, so that was a struggle.

It was a spacious, clean room with comfortable beds, a nice shower and bathroom. Once the staff arrived they were helpful and polite, even calling us a cab on our day to leave.

It is pretty noisy, which I expected due to the street nearby. Bathroom is outdated, but still had everything I needed.

Location is pretty good, tram stations nearby. Man can walk to the city center as well. Bed was comfortable, the room was clean and had everything I needed. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Slightly better cleanliness in the bathrooms. It's very loud at night but that's not the fault of the hotel, it's just how this part of Mannheim is.

Location is very convenient and in one of the more lively parts of Mannheim. The staff/owners are genuinely good people. They don't speak much of any English but they make it work and mean well.

some damages to some furnitures. could be repaired. the shelves in closet fell. bathroom mirror light didnt work. some things were not to hotel standard. the stairways were super slippery and even worse when wet and being cleaned. no elevators so not for elderlies or those with poor mobility.

cute quaint hotel in an easy accessible location. close to the street train and many restaurants nearby. comfortable beds and clean rooms. nice staff.

We were on the 4th floor but no elevator. 😅

WIFI did not work because too many people were using it. TV did not work. Tiny bathroom. That's it.

Very convenient location, only a few minutes from the Capitol - if you attend a concert or some other event there. Only fifteen minutes by tram from the central train station and the city centre. Very friendly staff, very helpful. Nice breakfast.

Not many convenient power sockets in the room - an extension cable with several sockets would fix that. The LCD TV was v small, not very visible from 1 bed, and only a few working channels - but who wants to watch anyway?! Parking is probably difficult - I parked 10 mins walk away at the west end of the University Klinik parkplatz - €6 for 24 hours, might be full in the morning.

Hotel Memo is a very handy place to stay if you're visiting an event at Alte Feuerwache. It's also just a 10 minutes walk over the river into the city centre. Also tram lines there too. My room (205) was spacious but spartan with 2 well-separated single beds. There was no traffic noise even with the window open. The bathroom was clean and fully functional, but dated. Wifi worked fine for me - streaming audio.

The room was tiny, uncomfortable with neon lighting, it was sparse like in a monastery but with kitsch and many patched up bits. The staircase is steep and a lot for carrying luggage. The food was really not nice.

The welcome was very warm. If someone wants to have an experience like in a movie this is the place to stay. Out of this world.

The wall in 20cm in front of toilet. You have to open the door for normal sitting Breakfast is poor, two slices of tomato and two slices of cucumber - all vegetables...

Disabled fascilities that do not exist. Staff that have a 2 sided personality; nice to begin with and then rude and unfriendly.

Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. Placement of hotel was average.

we did not stay here!!!! got to hotel late, due to delayed trains and hotel closed. didnt allow us to check in. A cleaning lady from restaurant (i think) couldnt help us other than to say it was too late. website said different time than what she told us. No one could help us. very dissappointed as i had to sleep on a floor that nite.

Very minimal room with cheap equipment. The bathroom door handle almost stayed in my hand when trying to open the door. Not very smooth communication with some of the staff. It was also not very nice that the cleaning staff took an empty bottle (with deposit!) in a paper bag on the table assuming it was trash (and not even emptying the trash bin)

Good location and price for my purposes.
