Location wasn’t great, a little way out from the town near an underpass and car rental places. Parking not free, need to use the car park across the street but it’s big with a lot of space.

Fantastic Brazilian themed hotel. The bar area was lovely with games to keep the kids amused including table football. Room very comfortable with large balcony. Great value

Breakfast

It's the second time we have stayed here. Didn't have the breakfast as overpriced for what you get, but the free coffee is excellent and the staff were very helpful and polite, although at times they appeared short staffed. For example it took us about 30 mins to check in. Studio rooms were perfect for what we wanted and the roof top terrace was lovely. Handy location, 5 mins from bus stop into town or a 25 min walk along the river Rhine.

The air conditioning in the room was noisy and did not cool the room. That said it was 32c when we stayed but at the previous 2 hotels the A/C worked fine at the same temperature

Facilities not as clean as expected for the price paid. The carpets on the aisle were in quite dirty over the days and...the room service happens every three days. Fir longer stays, you don't want to miss it.

Room design, room equipment, hotel location, team is kind of cool and chilled. Note: it is rather an apartment building concept for digital travelers than a personal cozy hotel with warm conversations. For me it was ok like that.

The check in process is long and cumbersome, and it would be better if smoking was not allowed on the balconies so nonsmokers can have windows open or enjoy their balconies too.

We liked that there was air conditioning that kept it cool enough, a small kitchen, laundry facilities available although we didn't use them, friendly staff, and a nice atmosphere in the lobby. The soundproofing was good also. Although the walk to town is a bit long, there are some amenities nearby and we saw buses in the area frequently, which we could have used for free through the hotel.

We weren't told about the Bodensee free travel pass on arrival. We'd paid for a couple of days travel before we became aware of the free pass. I'm sure it was just an oversight as the staff were busy on check-in. But important that guests are aware as the free travel pass makes getting around much easier.

The bed was very comfortable. A great shower and water pressure. Lovely staff and very clean accommodation. Aircon is quite mild - ok for me as I'm not a huge aircon fan but for those who like a super cold room you would struggle with the aircon.

Just a 2-minute walk to the bus stop connecting directly to Konstanz city center and the harbor. A free bus pass is provided for the duration of your stay. The lake is very close, with a lovely restaurant and a traditional beer garden nearby

loved having a kitchenette and some private outdoor space to eat/sit, in addition to shared outdoor space on the roof. Great having access to a laundry including a drying racks. Close to a bus route (frequent service except late at night) and supermarket, walkable into the old centre.

The shower drain was not working properly and to avoid water build up I had to pause the shower every few minutes. I think the day before my departure it was finally cleaned.

Everything was lovely

Our stay at Rioca was as usual: just splendid! Perfect location, easy check-in and check-out, friendly stuff, spacious and quiet rooms. We loved everything about the hotel. Twi more things worth mentioning: the balconies in every room and the rooftop. Ah and the idea with Brazilian sayings in the elevator. Whoever came up with this idea is a genius! So simple, but made us play a fun fortune telling game once in a while. Extra thanks for the coffee machine and for being dog friendly. Can't wait to come here again.
