It was situated in a nice place across the street excellent restaurant.

Fantastic value

We are usual guests at this hotel. The room we usually get is spacious and a very comfortable size for a family. The bathroom is clean and the towels are fresh. The beds are very comfortable.

We couldn't see any staff at breakfast, so we didn't get a high chair for our baby. They used to offer a baby cot for free now there is an extra fee for it. (The hotel is still a great value for the money) The breakfast is great, but the selection was smaller this time than usual.

Lovely room. Spacious shower room. Very quiet. Restaurant was open for evening meal,(closed Sundays). Unusual menu , but good choice and delicious with excellent service. Continental breakfast was first rate. Parking excellent. Value for money, especially with the hotel getaway deal. Would definitely return.

The hotel cleanliness was good. It’s nice that it’s quiet and peaceful.

The restaurant shown on the hotel’s website does not belong to the hotel. In my opinion, this is deceptive. It is not possible to meet needs like water or food after breakfast at the hotel. Especially since the markets and restaurants are closed on Sundays, we were left stranded. There isn’t even a vending machine for water or other drinks. There is no fridge in the room. There is no air condition in the room.

It was a very very historic building, with parking.

- location was a bit odd - restaurant next door had BBQ on that night so only way to eat there was to pay £50 per head to have some food and the lady who is in charge of this place charged my daughter who didn’t even touch the food (NOT SURE if this restaurant belongs to the hotel but it looked that way to me) - room was very tired, smelt dump and I didn’t feel it was clean but it was Ok to stay just overnight

We stayed here only one night and it was perfect . We liked the rustic style of hotel . You can feel the history of the place. The breakfast also was very tasty and people working there were very nice with us.

We liked everything. When you’re travelling for awhile and living out of a suitcase it was refreshing to have some space and even a bathtub! Restaurant on site, shops close by. Carpark on site!

Working hard to think of something I didn’t like …. Maybe the lighting was a bit dim - not that important though

No A/C.. Not much in the area considering in a town.

The beautiful medieval buildings and the very pretty, quaint, and cozy breakfast room although I didn't get to eat. I would love to return sometime in cooler weather!

NO AIR CONDITIONING! I thought I would die from the heat! Also the lady told me when I checked in that my breakfast would be included, but the next morning the lady attendant told me I would have to pay for my breakfast so I just didn't eat.

Very beautiful and clean hotel. The staff were very friendly and always willing to help! For sure if I will be around again I will book it.

Location is good but uber cost from airport is 15-20 euros each way

1st day arrived late, no fan or AC impossible to sleep 32C 2 nd day fan provided.

Beautiful building and room. Very clean and welcoming. Helpful staff and a great location. Great selection of restaurants near by aswell as their own. The near by University Botanical Gardens were great to walk the dog in.
