The area around the property has good trails and is suitable for walking. There are nice waterfalls around 15 minutes drive away from the property Scheidegg town centre is cute and nice. There is a Naturbad (Freibad) around 15 minutes walk from the property.

This property was too expensive (almost the price of a 4-star hotel) for being a rental apartment in a large residential complex. There are people actually living in the neighbourhood so you don't get a holiday feeling. If you are after a getaway experience this is not the place to book. Apparently the walls / ceiling are not sound-proof because one of the neighbours knocked on our door and asked us to be quiet. I was just playing a board game with my children and we just laughed a few times. The water quality of the swimming pool is not good. I am a regular swimmer but after one time swimming on Friday evening, my eyes (and my children's) were irritated until Sunday maybe due to too much chlorine in water.

I liked how big the apartment was and that it was clean. Everything was there.would be good to have oil too there( because buying a whole bottle of oil for 2 days is not worth it)

Bed sheets did have a small stain so maybe if that was cleaned better.

First off - a comprehensive info pack that has everything you need was sent to me as a website. Since the building is rather large, it was very helpful. The apartment itself is very conveniently and modernly outfitted, We didn't need anything that wasn't already available in the apartment (even including complimentary coffee pods, towels for the wellness area). There was also very good (and convenient) Hue lighting system installed with multiple wireless remotes. There's also AppleTV box and Alexa (I don't trust the latter so I disabled it temporarily :) but if you're into this, that's nice to have). Everything was clean and, the hosts even tought about and provided a compact clothes drying rack and a portable light for the balcony. So thoughful. But the biggest one for me - we're a couple travelling with a 3 year old. Most of the time, we have to pull out a sofa bed, make up the bed. This time though, our son was treated as a normal guest and his sofa bed (not some tiny one but a proper size one) had already been made for him. You've won us over with this one - thanks! The sauna and swimming pool is nice to unwind in the evening and the location is perfect for day outings with a kid around this area. When we're in the area again, we'll be back!

My stay in this apartment complex was excellent. The check-in was easy, and the apartment had a spacious indoor pool, a good breakfast, fast Wi-Fi, ample parking, a great sauna, a fully equipped kitchen, and a nice balcony with a view. I couldn't find any significant downsides to my stay; it was a highly positive experience overall.
