The atmosphere was calm and relaxing, the place was very clean, and the service was excellent. We truly enjoyed our stay at RotmeerHaus.

Nothing, it was perfect!

We just spent three unforgettable nights at Rotmeer Haus, and it was simply perfect – beyond all expectations. First and foremost, a huge thanks to Rami, the incredible host – such a warm, generous, and thoughtful person. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, beautifully renovated, and offered breathtaking views of green mountains and cows grazing in the meadow – like something out of a postcard. Breakfast, prepared by Rami himself, was truly outstanding – like something you’d expect in a gourmet restaurant: everything fresh, beautifully presented, served in elegant dishes, and made with so much love and care. But above all – it was Rami’s hospitality that made this experience so exceptional. He gave us great advice on places to visit, made restaurants reservations for us, and made sure we had everything we needed. The perfect balance between luxury-level service and a warm, homey atmosphere. We truly didn’t want to leave. Highly recommended! Thank you, Rami, for a stay we will never forget! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Everything was perfect!

This facility is an unusual 500-year-old farmhouse. Beautifully renovated with the most up to date amenities and modern designs. Each room was different and a wonderful creation. All integrated in the original building of hundreds of years. A quite hillside location with a great view and only 3 guest rooms... this is a truly boutique experience. The house is run by Rami and Michael. Very friendly, helpful and interesting guys. The breakfast was absolutely amazing with a great selection of breads, vegetables, fruits meats and eggs, all of utmost quality and in a beautiful setting. The room was large and very well appointed. WONDERFUL !!!

The facility is not comfortable for people with difficulties to manage steps. There as a ramp which should make it easier to reach the guest rooms but still this should be a consideration when booking.

Everything. What a wonderful place to stay. The host was so kind and accommodating. Our room was very light and spacious. Extremely comfortable bed with soften linens. The shower was excellent. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast each morning. It is situated up a hill with great views and a nice seating area outside. We were very happy here.

The attention to detail and personal touches were amazing. From the hair dryer, to the pillow chocolates and the delicious breakfast! The breakfast was divine. Rami and Michael were super welcoming and made the stay exceptional.

We loved the tranquil location. The accommodation had been refurbished with lots of care and attention so that the house still retained character. Hosts were super attentive and friendly. The breakfasts were delicious and the room was really comfortable.

We started our holiday with a 6 hrs delay leaving Malta and I was really really worried that we would find the RotmeerHaus closed but when we arrived, late in the night - instead of early afternoon, our host was waiting for us with a smile. Rami, you are unique!!!! I loved everything about this holiday, the place was so beautiful that I kept taking photos of the same scenarios. The hotel was beyond any expectations and the breakfast was really good especially the smoothies Rami used to prepare for us. Rami was always there for us, he made our holiday extraordinary. I used to ask him daily regarding our destination for the day etc and he helped every time. When returning back to our room after our day out, the room was always spotless. I HIGHLY recommend RotmeerHaus. Rest assured that you will fall in love with the place like we did!!

Everything was perfect. The only thing that could have been better was the weather. We had lots and lots of rain. But you do not have control over the weather so..

Everything was amazing! Our family of 2 adults and 2 teens found the Silver Fir suite to be perfect. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were immaculate, and the bathroom was spacious and well-equipped. Our hosts were amazing - they provided excellent advice on things to do, made dinner reservations for us, and were extremely welcoming and gracious. The breakfasts were delicious and freshly prepared. We also appreciated that they spoke English. The setting and location were ideal. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful, but not far from many activities. We would recommend the RotmeerHaus to any traveler and look forward to going back to stay there and explore more of the beautiful Black Forest!

Well designed, thought out and beautiful property. Everything was spotless and charming. Hosts did a spectacular job!

Simply amazing! This place was the single best decision we made throughout our vacation. Our hosts, Rami and Michael are so oriented towards their guests' comfort and needs it really makes a difference. Clean and tidy, best equipment out there, great breakfast - these are just some of things that come to mind, but really are just a drop in the water. Keep rocking guys

We are a well travelled couple who has stayed at numerous B&B, this has to be one of our favourites. So much care and thought has gone into the design of the interior and no expense spared on the fixtures, fittings, furniture and bedding. I had long wanted to try a Dyson hairdryer and was not disappointed - first thing I bought when I got home - be warned! :) The breakfasts were amazing, again such attention to detail, nothing was too much trouble for their guests - loved it and thank you.

Absolutely nothing, please don’t change and we look forward to returning.

The hotel was so well thought out from the decore to the l’atout of the rooms The hotel staff was very kind. The breakfast was excellent and had very high quality ingredients and variety.

We had a fantastic stay at Rotmeerhaus. Michael not only went the extra mile when it came to his hospitality, he went beyond. We took the train from Freiburg to Feldberg Bärenthal -the highest train station in Germany- 967m above sea level. From the train station it took about a 15minute walk passing the Schnapps Museum and Lidl Supermarket. As we approached Rotmeerhause Michael and Lily (beautiful dog) welcomed us at the front door, and we were immediately offered a cup of (very good) coffee. The room was immaculate, and the bathroom spoke of German quality at the best. The breakfast was the same as you can expect on first class and possible a little more. We did a small hike up the mountain to Zweiseenblick in the morning, and Michael also let us know that we can check out after the hike. This is certainly not all the time possible, however in our case he offer us this gratitude. I think when you stay here, the place will remain in your memory for a long while. We can recommend Rotmeerhaus to anyone who would like to enjoy some peace and quiet, and enjoy the Schwarzwald nature.

we had a wonderful stay here. Michael, our host, was welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was delicious. The vibe is relaxing and comfortable, encouraging you to slow down and enjoy. the amenities are great, and so very thoughtful. We are sorry we didn't stay for longer.
