A little bit of confusion when we arrived with the lock box and then which apartment it was but very quickly sorted with a visit from the owner.

Great location, enjoyed having the extra facilities of a kitchen and washing machine after staying in hotels throughout our trip.

We liked Gengenbachvery much. Our room was ideally located in the old town, to all facilities and the railway station which was essential. The facilities at our stay covered all requirements.

This place is very central, we enjoy the big apartment and the washing machine was a big bonus. Really reccommend this place!!!

We were unable to park close to the house, apart from for loading and unloading. Free parking was available near the station, but this was about a ten minute walk. Parking in the streets nearby is restricted to one hour.

We enjoyed being in the pretty part of the old town centre. We were also given a Konus card, which allowed us free travel on trains and buses. The instruction manual was excellent.

Loved it here, the apartment has everything you needed, including cooking equipment. The location was very central and easy for traveling around. Our Konus cards were ready for us when we arrived which was greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Historical building comfy, clean and with full kitchen and laundry; just around the corner from fairytale downtown Gengenbach. Plus free Konus card for free train and bus station (each within five minute walk) to nearby Triberg, Freiburg, Offenberg/Ortenberg.

Just take note that if you are bringing large luggage there is a long way of cobblestones to get through. The nearest large Edeka is also 15min walk away, though I don’t think this should stop anyone from staying here.

Property is literally 1min from the main square so you step right out into the Christmas market and can see the advent calendar house. Property was also large, had everything you needed (host is clearly very thoughtful), including Netflix.

It is confusing to deal with Holidu in the middle who sent duplicate and multiple emails although we booked through Booking.com I was supposed to receive an email with the pass code to the key lock for the apartment but I didn't. Fortunately Tourist Info at Gengenbach helped me to contact the owner who arrived quickly to get me into the apartment. Communication directly with the apartment owner via Booking.com was great and smooth.

The apartment is spacious, comfortable and clean. The kitchen is very well equipped. Ann-Katrin promptly delivered more coffee powder when I emailed her to advise we ran out of coffee. The washing machine and a clothes drying rack are very handy to have. The location is superb in town within walking distance to the local small supermarket Edeka Thiem, restaurants, cafes and town attractions. Since there are no taxis at the railway station, it is convenient to only be a 5-10 minutes walk away as we have heavy luggage to drag.

Parking is not in front of hotel, however several nice big parking lots are very close and the one we parked at was only 3 euro a day.

This is so close to the advent calendar and several restaurants, perfect location! It was a very big room with bed, couch, and dining room and full kitchen. Very clean. I wish we had stayed longer than two nights.

It was literally in the centre of the amazing gingerbread town of Gengenbach. It had all the facilities required to make it a home, so you can eat in or dine out.

The apartment is spacious, the kitchen is well equipped with quality appliances and utensils. The bathroom is big, the floor is heated and the shower has a strong water pressure. Station is 500 meters away and the shops and restaurants are within a stone’s throw.

Personally I like a firmer pillow but we made do and it was far from being a deal breaker.

Absolutely everything. This beautiful apartment is in a fabulous location for exploring the Black Forest. The apartment is a great size and has everything you could possibly need. The shower was fantastic. It is well located in the village for transport links, restaurants and shops. Ann-Katrin was always on hand should you need her. We didn't, as mentioned, there was everything you could need and we were grateful for the umbrella! We had a wonderful stay and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others.

We had an excellent stay, the apartment was spotlessly clean and quiet! Great location in the centre of Gengenbach within easy reach of the town centre and rail station. We would recommend this stay to anyone!
