Be aware that if you do not have a car you do need to walk a reasonable distance for everything you need. The sofa beds were a bit confusing, but we worked out what we needed

A beautiful place to stay with very thoughtful touches. The place is beautifully presented with an exceptionally well equipped kitchen for a holiday rental. The property is an easy walk from the station. Access to the old town is similar. The rooms are very spacious

Our family of 4 arrived just before Christmas to a warm and cosy apartment. It was wonderful. Beautifully furnished and very clean with 2 separate bedrooms, a well equipped modern kitchen and a lovely modern bathroom. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Blockout curtains were great. Each bedroom had a balcony. We were able to sit outside and admire the lovely views. There’s a washing machine and dishwasher too. It had everything we needed and more. Edgar and Silvia were wonderful hosts who answered our queries promptly. The accommodation is in a fantastic location. Very quiet area and yet only a 7 minute walk to the main town. We discovered some great bars and restaurants in town. It is also around a 10 minute walk to a big supermarket/bakery. The train station is around a 15 minute walk to the apartment. We loved our stay and will definitely return.

Everything was there that we needed. It was incredibly clean, warm, inviting, spacious and parking was very easy and free. Easy and short walk into town and a great walking path along the river as well, which was very close to the property.

Due to the appartment being under the roof (top floor of the building), the kitchen and dining table are partially placed under a low ceiling, which is somewhat inconvenient if you are tall.

Good location, 2 spatious bedrooms, good quality washing machine and dryer, sufficient cupboards and wardrobes. Nice view over the hills from one of the balconies. There is a shared garden downstairs with swings and a trampoline.

We were there mid July and it was warm. Though fans are available in both bed rooms and opening doors few hours before sleeping helped, it was still very hot to sleep in.

Location was really nice, lovely house with 2 big bed rooms, each with TV.

Others in the building who smoke could move away from the front step, so that the smoke doesn't get sucked up into the hallway. It doesn't affect the interior of the apartments, but it's not fun to walk through.

We rented two apartments for our extended family, and it was perfect. The folks with bad knees stayed on the ground floor. Those of us with pep in our step stayed up in the balcony apartments. The bus stop is practically outside the front door (which those with bad knees found perfect.)

The only thing is there is not much view and we kept the curtains closed all the time, however that didn’t bother us as we were out all day every day. There was a lovely new patio just laid at the back which will be good in warmer weather.

The flat was very new, clean and very comfortable, and warm, the kitchen was well equipped including a dishwasher and coffee machine. There is a washing machine and tumble drier in the building. The shower was excellent, and the beds very comfortable. All the windows had blinds which kept the light out in the early mornings. There was always parking on site. Edgar and Sylvia were very helpful and efficient. Gengenbach town was a few minutes walk away across the river, there were a few restaurants open (not many open in a Monday though).
