    Fantastic property

Like all small towns, the bar shuts early by 11pm and everything is a little on the expensive side.

    Property response:

Dear AkshatDeora, Thank you for staying with us, we are glad you had a fantastic stay!

Nice property, great garden by the pool. Excellent facilities, well kept. Restaurant is great. Lives up to the “gourmet” name. Very good breakfast with plenty of choice. Cordial and efficient staff.

Rooms can be warm in summer, but luckily there is aircon. Romes are traditionally furnished, for some it might be a letdown.

    Property response:

Dear Aleksandar, great to read that you enjoyed your stay with us! Please note that only some of our rooms have air condition. If not specified in the room description on Booking.com, please contact the hotel before reservation. Also most of our rooms are the same modern style than the whole hotel, however, we offer some traditionally furnished rooms at attractive prices ("Budget" and "Classic" categoreis, please refer to photos of selected room category on Booking.com). We hope to see you again soon! Best, Your Adler Häusern team

Room was ok, but smelly. Shower cabin was tiny. Balcony had a weird slope and couldn't be used.

The female receptionist was super unfriendly - in fact pretty rude, as she didn't even bother to look up, greet or offer any assistance whatsoever. Constantly made us feel as if we are 'disturbing' her. We felt entirely unwelcome. Also, they would charge extra for anything they could come up with: Extra for parking (which is free on all streets around the hotel), 5 Euro to bring some milk for coffee to the room (as there was none).

    Property response:

Dear guest, we are sorry you were disappointed with your stay. Your description doesn't really sound like our hotel or staff, please be assured that we take all comments seriously and act on them to make sure guests have a perfect stay with us and feel welcome at all times. If you are super healthy then yes you probably like this place

Spa shuts at 5pm. Says 24/7 access. Room wasn’t checked until really late in the day. The dinner we had in the restaurant was nice but came out looking for a pizza place because we were still hungry. Slippers we had to pay an extra €5 each. Joke for a spa. Free drink on arrival.. you can only have at 5pm. Ok. Oh and then we had a road dug up everyday outside our room. So we couldn’t use the balcony we paid for. Can’t fully blame that but just pre warn us!

    Property response:

Dear guest, we are sorry to read that you were not satisfied with your stay. The road construction work in the village, which has now been completed all around the hotel, was annoying, especially because the companies responsible (the local district heating provider and the fiber optic provider) unfortunately did not coordinate with us or even communicate in a timely manner when and where work would be carried out. If we are correctly assigning your unfortunately completely anonymous review, we had offered you a new room on the other side of the hotel before the official check-in time. No road construction was taking place on this side of the hotel during your stay. About th espa you have probably confused something. Our fitness center is available around the clock, and that is the only thing we communicate as open 24/7. Our excellent spa therapists have families and therefore finish work by 6:30 p.m. at the latest. Most guests understand this, especially since saunas and relaxation rooms are available until 8 p.m., and the pool even until 10 p.m. We also never charge guests the €5 charge for disposable slippers the first time they leave their own shoes at home. However, we truly care about sustainability, which is why we ask our guests to use their own shoes instead of unnecessarily producing non-recyclable waste with disposable slippers. We would be delighted to provide you with a completely perfect stay next time! Best regards, Your Adler Häusern Team

The breakfast is good. There are apples and nuts available in the spa area, which was a nice touch. The bed is amazing, and there are hiking trails all around.

The minibar was empty, which was surprising given the price—I expected it to be stocked. Also, if you buy something from the nearby store, the fridge doesn’t keep it cold. On the balcony, we didn’t have much privacy since neighbors across the street could see us. Some dinners lacked seasoning, and the fish was very dry.

    - quaint location: shops, café and take-away joint nearby. - offers more than meets the eye, property is larger than it looks. - gym available too, even though not indicated on website. - food choice diverse from gluten free to vegan to meats, especially breakfast buffet. - health-conscious menu. - virgin mocktails and spirits offered (and delicious). - garden courtyard lovely, sauna in courtyard. - ground floor terrace in front of room was lovely. - wellness area very diverse, many niches to rest and options for saunas (steam, hot, clothed). - morning staff were very very friendly.

    - main street on two sides of the hotel, so make sure to request a quiet room if you are sensitive to sounds. - room doors are not soundproof, we heard everything from the rooms next door and everyone passing in front of our door or the cleaning crew in the early morning. - somehow parking was charged although there is nothing indicated on their website nor on Booking.com - restaurant waiter in the evening was stressed and unfriendly first evening. Could not relax and enjoy the food. Opted not to eat there again.

We had the most wonderful four-day stay at this fantastic four-star hotel, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding—so accommodating, kind, and genuinely attentive to every detail. The food was an absolute highlight. Breakfast was not only delicious and varied but also exceptionally mindful of allergens, which we truly appreciated. Dinners showcased incredible local flavors, making every meal a delightful experience. Sustainability is clearly at the heart of this hotel, and it shows in every aspect of their hospitality. It was refreshing to see such a commitment to eco-friendly practices without compromising on luxury and comfort. We chose this hotel for our babymoon, looking for relaxation, and it exceeded all expectations. The spa was a dream—massages, facials, and a tranquil atmosphere that made us feel completely pampered and at peace. If you’re looking for a beautiful, relaxing, and well-cared-for stay, this is the place. We highly recommend it and would love to return in the future!
