How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).

Under our window a cocktail party took place, incl. yelling kids. It went on and on till around 23:00/23:30, whilst we wanted to sleep around 22:00 hours. But no worries, we know this is quite early for non-dutchies. Looking at the size of the room and the beds, the hotel could have chosen for larger, more comfortable beds.
The room and staff met the expectation well, which we mostly set high. Nice! The garden was superb. It had a variaty of seats and loungers. We spent the evening with drinks and bites, accompanied by the singing birds. The breakfast was very complete, and the young lady running it was friendly, organised and attentive.

Carpet in the room- I don't like that in hotels. Small thing: placemats in the restaurant would be nice.
super nice hotel, value for money is top. Breakfast amazing, big room and big bathroom, clean, food in the restaurant was excellent. Super-comfortable matrasses and cosy bed linen. Parking included. It was a very positive surprise. 100 % recommendation and will return when back in the area.

The room was spacious, well equipped and very clean. The bathroom was excellent. The hotel which was once a nunnery. had a very calm and relaxing atmosphere. Breakfast choices were extensive and very good quality. There was also lots of free parking available.

The hotel restaurant was closed on Sunday the day I arrived. I had to leave the hotel to find somewhere to dine. Although it was not a problem for me, it would have been nice to be able to eat at the hotel. If this is imported, I recommend checking the restaurant opening times before booking. The hotel hosts conferences and the restaurant may get busy or fully booked.
The hotel is located in a quiet street with substantial grounds surrounded it, the area was quiet at night. The staff were very friendly and I received a warm welcome on my arrival. The hotel is spacious and airy, my room was a good size and spotlessly clean. There was an excellent breakfast included with a good selection on offer. They have a restaurant at the property but it was closed on Sunday which is the day I arrived. Parking is available on site at no extra charge and was easy to access. I will definitely stay here again when visiting Kempten.

An old monastery, where the last sisters, hotel guests and elderly people all live or stay amongst one another. Beautiful

Only one thing. We had asked to be in a room away from the lifts, but it meant we were at an end wall of the hotel and the noise from the kitchens clanging about below us until midnight travelled up the wall and kept us awake. Nothing can be done about that, and it was the result of our own request.
Staff at both reception and in the restaurant were great. Room was comfortable. Food was good. Gardens to relax in in the evening after dinner were a real joy.

Not much the host can do about it but quite a few mosquitos in the garden when we were there.
Peaceful location where we stayed overnight. We accidentally booked the wrong date and accommodation let us change our booking at the desk for no additional cost. Great service 👍

Always it is like my home in Kempten. Once monastry, its surrounding and garden makes me so comfortable. Everything is well arranged, clean, spacious and quite. Enough parking space within the hotel yard. Breakfast is in variety of foods and drinks. Cannot find any better in Kempten.
