It was cold, we stayed in October when there were only few degrees at night, heating didn’t work. The most annoying and off putting was the staff who came in our room at 8:30am knocking and opening the door at the same time - I stood naked in the room because the checkout was at 12pm! This is a no go! This happened twice, at 8:30am and at 10:10am. The other thing is the stiff ridged approach of the staff members. The breakfast finished at 10:30am. I still had coffee so I kept sitting, drinking coffee and reading. A member of staff asked me to move to Lobby where it was freezing cold as it is located between two main entrances. They can’t think out of the box and let someone stay where they are. Hospitality on a high level doesn’t look like this.

The breakfast was superb, the amenities were great, 24h reception, shop etc.

We booked a standard room which had no air condition - even though the day was not too hot, the room heated up and we had to sleep with the fully opened window to cool down the room until the next morning and to get some sleep… And as already mentioned by others, the rooms needs an update to justify the price level.

We liked the location in between a little park and the vineyards - about 10-15min walking from the center. Breakfast was good with quite some different things to chose.

The shower needs a bit more cleaning. It had moldy looking spots. We stayed on a Sunday for one night and they could not accommodate us for dinner service, after a long and extremely hot day it was quite disappointing... and the snack corner albeit useful is overpriced and snacks tasted old.

Beds were very comfortable. It has a bar and quite pleasant outside seating area.

Facilities are outdated, the shower didn’t drain okay and it had mold. The fan in the room didn’t work that strong. We rented bikes and they weren’t well maintained.

Oberall very old facilities that would profit from some small renovation, floor in the room was not clean, pillows on the beds were of cheapest quality

Friendly staff, easy to find and partially free parking. A little nicer than expected. The enclosed park is pretty. Breakfast offered a good variety of fresh food. Winter garden seating is pretty

1. The shower had minor smell coming out of the drainage expanding. 2. Also, I have been charged 12 Euros for parking one night at the garage without knowing it is actually cost to use this facility. The sign pointing to the cost is very small and not in English. This is a bit tricky and I would not park knowing it cost money. 3. 2 minutes after the end of breakfast I asked for a cappuccino with oat milk and was asked by the service lady to pay for the coffee. A bit flexibility will help here. 4. The breakfast is missing more vegetables options.

The bed is very comfortable. The location of the hotel is remarkable. Nice green area with a small lake attached and a water fountain. In the heart of the German Toscana.
