You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)

An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).

The room service took out my DM bag with my items in it. There was expensive sunscreen and hair mask in there. After I told the receptionist she acted like it does not matter at all. I told them I can’t wait forever and then she gave me a paper to put my number in, saying they will call me back. More than a week past and nothing. They can at least be responsible enough to give reimbursement.

Verified reviewThe room was clean and comfortable, though the Wi-Fi barely worked. But what truly ruined the experience was the hotel’s chaotic payment system. At check-in, I was told to pay at check-out — not upfront — but a credit card deposit was required. On the morning of check-out, I paid in advance via the hotel’s Luca app, as suggested by an email sent by Booking.com. The app showed check-out failed, so I went to the front desk, showed proof of payment, and was told it would be verified and my credit card wouldn’t be charged. But later that day, the hotel froze and charged my credit card. Despite repeated calls and emails, I’ve been waiting over two weeks and still no refund. Staffs said “don’t trust the emails or WhatsApp messages from Booking.com.” But this was my first stay — how could I have known the hotel’s process contradicted the platform’s instructions? Booking.com, Luca App and hotel management: refund the duplicate charge immediately or I will take legal action. This is completely unacceptable.

The hotel charged my credit card 3 times, instead of only one time. I called them up and received an e-mail address I should contact. After mailing to the address nothing happened. I contacted the hotel again 2 times via mail but with no response?!? This is very unprofessional for a 4 star hotel! I never will stay there again.
