Retro hotel, which we loved it. Location was good.

There was a smell of cigarettes, everywhere.

The terrace and the small garden in the back are very pleasant. The hotel is well located near city center. An S station is very close with direct connection to the airport.

Beautiful, old style. Good breakfast.

The church bells were so annoying, ringing until late in the night and early in the morning. Of course that is out of the hotel's control, but maybe they should have a word, since this damages their business. Staff was friendly enough but not particularly motivated. No tea and coffee making facilities.

Fantastic lil property near a bus stop that will connect you with the most amazing attractions Hamburg has to offer. Ladies at reception were so kind and helpful, it made our stay all the better

The staff were very pleasant and helpful, The continental breakfast was very good with plenty of different meet and cheeses, tomatoes, eggs and the rolls were warm, selection of yoghurts and jams,fresh fruit, tea and coffee were excellent. my room was a single ensuite wasn’t large, but I didn’t expect that from the photos i’d seen, ensuite was small but sufficient and clean. shower was really excellent powerful and constant hot water. fresh towels every day. 24 hour reception.

My room could have done with a redecoration and maybe update the furniture. Would not be suitable for wheelchair users.

Location and very quiet. Unpretentious and well priced.

No problems for me. I just needed a comfortable bed.

only stayed for one night and didnt have breakfast, but everything else was great! very clean and comfortable beds. the church across the street woke me up a few times but it was still a very quiet and comfortable room.

hairdryer and toothpaste would have been nice.

We really liked this hotel, The furnishings and decor are very old e school- so if you like muted greys and light fittings that cost more than your weekly wage this isn’t for you. The rooms are furnished with standard lamps, wardrobes etc with items from a bygone age- a bit like walking into an Agatha Christie novel The staff are wonderful. The hotel is on a quiet back street but only 5 minutes walk from everything you could need
