Beforehand I was doubtful about a digital check in, but it was all very straightforward and easy. The hotel room was lovely - a good size, comfortable, nicely furnished/decorated, and had everything we needed, including a fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. The breakfast (in the restaurant directly opposite) was great. Parking in the streets around the hotel was plentiful, and because we were there at the weekend, free. If you’re travelling by car, the Kepos is a great place to stay for visiting Nuremberg, Bamberg and Coburg. We were really sorry only to be staying overnight. I’d definitely recommend the Kepos and stay there again.

Bathroom Miror.. was too high.. I am 155 cm, I could NOT see myself. Would be lovely if you put another miror atleast in the room

It would be good if it was emphasised more in the welcome email the importance of synching a card. I wasn't aware of this and had big trouble getting into the hotel on my return late at night because the phone signal was so weak.

Amazing Hotel. Location is perfect. Rooms are super nice with much love for the details. They thought of everything. Design is unique. I didn't feel so well in a hotel for long time although I stayed in some 5 star hotels. Breakfast is very good in terms of quality and variety. I was a bit worried about the full automatic check-in and door open but it was smooth with 0 problems for my whole stay. Big thanks and congrats for the exquisite taste

We spontaneously had to stay in Erlangen and this accommodation is not only conveniently located, well equipped and offers great value for money, it is also practical to simply self-check-in after a long and exhausting day.

This is an exceptional experience in a beautiful old town of Erlangen. The Kepos hotel has a digital reception. The check in process was amazingly straight forward . The bar was fully loaded. The rooms were designed very tastefully. Loved the morning breakfast. The freshly cooked Menemen with nice sour bread and carrot juice were simply unforgettable.

The working table was equipped with bar stools which was very uncomfortable. The breakfast could be improved (more pastries :-)

If you’re not technically inclined you might struggle with all the “digital stuff”. That being said, there is an option to get a physical key. I would have given the hotel 10/10, but the water was cold. Seems the boiler was broken.

Really cool concept. Completely self check in and you use your phone as a digital key. My room was clean and spacious. The sauna area was great too.

breakfast had almost no vegan breadspread options. I'd appreciate e.g. hummus. grocery stores like DM and REWE have some options in stock.

location is great next to the university clinic, rooms are bright, AC'ed and calm. digital checkin/checkout work great
