Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

ItalyOne detail: the plastic curtain of the shower
I stayed here 2 nights with my wife and my son on August 2025 on a tour in Bavaria. The room was wide and comfortable, with a small kitchen as well. The breakfast offered a good variety and quality of both savory and sweet choices. The hotel is 100m far from the underground, so it's very easy to get to the old town centre.

United KingdomIt's a little silly they don't save the name/ data and notes of the people staying with them, so they can welcome back guests who have returned or are staying with them again. Also there were some issues with the booking coming through from booking.com which meant it took quite a while at reception after a very long day for me.
Love this place! Will always stay there if I visit Nuremberg on a healthy budget. Rooms are always tiptop. Amenities (all that's missing is a gym IMO)

United KingdomThe pictures on booking .com show the hotel with the Holiday Inn logos so when arriving at destination we were confused as the hotel was called NUI.After driving about for a further 20 mins we arrived back at the original destination my wife went in and it was confirmed as the Holiday Inn. Lots of wasted time and very hard driving round and round
Staff very helpful

Netherlands- Kitchen supplies only available upon giving a 50 EUR deposit (and it is not so much) - The staff was not friendly and the English was limited compared to other three places we stayed in Germany - No laundry room
- Supermarket open from 7 to 22 every day right in front of the hotel - Park with playgrounds and calisthenics right behind the hotel - It has a space for children with some games - Spacious lobby - 3 metro stops from the center or 15-min walk - Bed was relatively big - Room was dark (although not fully dark) and we could not hear anything from other rooms - Fridge available

United StatesBreakfast was a highlight! But the air conditioner was broken, they did not get it fixed, they would not refund us anything for being uncomfortable all night…it was very hot! Had to get up n shower at 3 am… very frustrating! But it’s a very nice hotel other than that! Not enough car parking spaces available in the garage either!

United KingdomBed very firm. Room has a kitchen but have to pay a €50 euro deposit to borrow the equipment to use it. Same if you want an iron. All just irritating hassle. Why can’t just have the kettle and a couple of cups. If you need all the other stuff then you can request as needed. No complimentary water or coffee etc.
Property great. Room clean and comfortable great air conditioning

United KingdomNot the hotels fault but there was large gangs of young Asian and African men outside the hotel area late at night. Most weren't a problem but we had one African male scaring and Intimidating us. If I was alone it wouldn't be so bad but he didn't seem to care that he was upsetting my wife and children. It's a difficult position to be in. Do you front him up and try and get him to back away or try to ignore and move away whilst he is following you. Left a bad taste on my experience of Nuremberg unfortunately
Location next to the metro was great. Free parking out front. Supermarket over the road. Room has microwave and a good fridge. We were very happy there and would stay again

NetherlandsNothing mainly, it's a good hotel At first i missed a smokers-corner outside, but then i came to see the terrace they have behind the hotel, this is something they could share/ask at check-in.
Staff member Julia was very friendly and helpful. She even came outside for a chat and told me what was nice to see in the city. Later she performed proper action to help a colleague who seemed nauseous and flaw, when i asked her if i could do something she told me that she allready called for the ambulance, which arrived not much later and took her colleague with them to the hospital. Super professional.
