The breakfast restaurant staff needs to be more welcoming and should communicate with guests more openly about the dishes available e-g: type o. Omeletes etc etc

- the club sandwich wasn’t as delicious as I expected - had an issue with the valet service they seemed to not know were my car key is - unfortunately there is one receptionist and the other one is still on training had to wait for 10 minutes or more to get checked in - when I attempted to call to dine in my room it took almost 15 minutes to half an hour to answer - the location is ok

- wonderful hotel - nice lobby - the design of my room was special - loved the balcony of my room it was a treat - tv was ok - the fridge was cold - room service is very good - staff are professional - breakfast was delicious

We loved everything about our stay - the room was so nice and you could feel that everything was thought of. The pool was lovely and larger than expected. The breakfast was amazing. The best, however was the service and the people we met during our stay. We cant wait to come back another time.

The swimming pool water temperature was cold (28 C) in relation to the weather which was cold too. When speaking to staff they indicated that if the water would be warmer the sport swimmers will complain of overheating. I do not understand why sport swimmers should dictate the hotel pool water temperature policy. It is not a sports pool but a hotel pool. However I think keeping costs low is the main drive for this policy. Also we did not know that we had free tickets to visit the Autostadt exhibition as the hotel was situated on its premises. We discovered that late at time of our check out. The restaurant Aqua is fully booked long in advance. Guests stand no chance of dining there which makes the experience missing a chunk.

High standard of hospitality. Spacious room. Comfortable beds. Amazing top notch breakfast. accommodating staff. The breakfast manager greeted us by name which adds a personal touch.

We had stayed in other Ritz hotels before, so the only thing that was not so good was the quality of the breakfast items on the menu. We tried the waffle and the pancakes and both were clearly not made on the spot, but rather kept warm for a while before we received them. It made the waffle and pancakes a bit chewy, not the standard we were expecting.

The room was fantastic (we got an upgrade to a suite), simply wonderful. The entire hotel is located next to a kraftwerk factory, which is really beautiful.

When we arrived, there was only one person at the reception solving issues on the phone with a customer - we had to wait quite some time, not the best welcome.

The swimming pool is amazing, althought the water was a bit cold in the afternoon. Nice breakfast.

I stayed a couple of times in this hotel already and every check out took me more that 10-15 mins. I understand these are busy hours, but either a process should be leaner or maybe a couple of more receptionist for busy hours would speed up this procedure. Another situation that I’d like to highlight is the Lady who hosted me at the Restaurant for breakfast and asked firmly in German:” Verstehen Sie mich?! Verstehen Sie Deutsch?!” I don’t think this type of sentences belong to customer service. There are many other ways to ask what language guest would prefer for a communication rather than questioning one’s capability to understand German. Maybe you use this advice for staff trainings and development. On the other hand, the Lady in the wellness area was super friendly, showed me around and made sure I feel comfortable! Great Compliment!
