Smoking is allowed by the outdoor pool. Since the outdoor pool is surrounded by buildings, you can smell the smoke everywhere. The coffee machine in the room was provided by a brand that went out of sale already. It's not compatible with other systems. So you are not able to buy additional capsules.

Though the hotel appears to have a nice spa facilities it appears to be available for the guests on the day of the check in. We arrived at 20:30 and when inquired about the use of the pool the following morning we were told it would be st extra cost. The night cost us €276+ parking 🅿️ €10 + local tax, and at that price one would expect ro be able to use the pool before checkout at no extra cost. The room was comfortable and clean. Though cheaply refurbished. The bedsheets were nice but the duvet and pillow could be nicer .

We liked that the hotel offered a family room which was spacious. The location was nice, not too far away from the motorway. The town centre was pretty.

This time my room seemed a little the worse for wear. The toilet leaked (after I’d reported it, someone from the “technical team” put a folded towel under it), and the bathroom floor was flooded after using the shower. Rooms are only cleaned every other day for “environmental reasons”. Which is wonderful if that’s really true. But if you then exchange all the towels, even those neatly hung on the rails, it really defeats the purpose. The complimentary toiletries I knew from other stays are gone except for the shower gel dispenser. The mattress was good but the pillows blankets, though clean, were somewhat lumpy. Having paid €144 per night for just the room, no breakfast, I felt a little underwhelmed.

I’ve been here many times. And it is a nice hotel.

Calm and casual hotel with everything we needed. We enjoyed the downstair pool with the kids in the afternoon and went for a walk with the dog round the area. The morning breakfast was very good and had every options needed.

Staff member checking us in was very friendly. The dog even got a bag of treats! The room was really nice and clean. The breakfast was really tasty with a great selection to choose from. All staff in the restaurant and Pluckers bar made us feel extremely welcome. We drive to Poland and back from the UK a few times a year and have been for the last 12 years. We find hotels in various towns and villages along the route to stay in and this is the first one that we have said we should use this one every time. The hotel itself is really nice and a 5 min walk into the town finds a number of lovely restaurants. We will be back for our next stopover in July!

Only regret they didn’t give water except 1/2 liter on checking day. I asked water many times but did not receive except on 3rd that too with many follow ups. Overall experience is good may be my need of water is something not common.

It’s only hotel in Arolsen so don’t have choice. Hotel gave me room as per my preference. Breakfast spread is good with many options for veg food. Overall experience is good may be my need of water is something not common.

Actually it is very good 3 star hotel. We was not ussing SPA and breakfest, but room was very clean. The most worse are pillows. They are just very bad, and if you dont ask additional pillow, you will sleep practicaly without pillow. Also cofee machine was not operating, and second one, which we get also not. Because thay are capsule coffee machines, they must be cleande, but if it is not done, cofee not be possible to have.

The room was not very clean. The toilet was very dirty and there was dust and hair on the floor. When you arrive you have to pay €8/day for parking. The personnel at the restaurant is not friendly.

The restaurant was closed three of the four nights we were there. My disabled mother had to walk considerable distance to find alternative restaurants in town. When approached the manager of the hotel was far from understanding and sympathetic.
