Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

SpainThere was no one on reception after 9.30pm. However we could see late check in was arranged for some other customers after that hour.
The suite room was spacious and had quality furnishings. Bathroom was renovated, the rest felt a bit dated but charming. There was a terrace over a patio with an amazing koi fish tank. It was relaxing. Breakfast was good, and they catered to our little special demands about it (eggs, yoghourt,...)

PolandMiły hotel i restauracja z gwiazdką Michelin. Blisko do stacji S-Bahn do centrum, na lotnisko i na targi. Do centrum też niedaleko pieszo i do tego z górki 😊.

GreeceI didn’t like that in the description in booking says that there is an elevator, but in reality only some rooms have elevator. It should be clarified. Because one of us has difficulty in moving, and if we knew that this room has no elevator, we would have chosen another hotel It is also written that it is at the center of the city, but you need 20’ walking. This is not a problem, because the way to the center is nice. But it should be clarified too
A great hotel, very clean with elegant decoration in a nice neighborhood. The stuff was polite

United StatesThe only thing was the parking. It was advertised that parking was free but then it was 10euro a night for a car in a very tight parking garage. The only other thing is that the second morning, someone tried to come into our room while we were getting ready to leave for the day. The building doesn’t have an elevator so suitcases have to be carried up, but it wasn’t bad.
We enjoyed the history of the building and we loved the restaurant that was connected to the hotel which was an easy walk away. The room was very nice and it couldn’t have been in a more easily accessible area. It was definitely a charming hotel!

GermanyThe heating was turned up high in the building for this time of year. The room was warm. We opened the window at first, but the room is located next to the Stadtbahn (lightrail) tracks and you hear trams/metro passing by every 5 minutes. So we closed the window and turned on the AC to sleep better.
Smooth check in and check out. The room was clean. Short walk to the city center.

GermanyThe suite was very good. It was at the main building facing the street but it had double windows and you couldn't hear anything. The whirlpool was cozy. It is close to the city and you can go there on foot. Parking possibility with a small fee.

AustraliaBreakfast wasn't included.
This hotel was good, but the location wasn't as central as we had hoped. There is a tram at the front door but there are very few restaurants, cafes or bakeries nearby. It is also on a fairly busy road. The hotel is quaint but a little too old worldly for us. It was clean and the rooms were a decent size. The staff were very attentive and friendly.

AustraliaI forgot to mention when we checked out the shower head in our room I think was a bit odd - could only have a heavy narrow stream of water (like a hose), rather than the lighter more spread out spray. But it didn’t stop us from having a lovely warm shower. And it wouldn’t stop me from returning.
The 2 bedroom family room was very large. One bedroom had a small balcony overlooking the courtyard and koi pond. It was a lovely spot to relax between busy tourist activities. We stayed on a Friday & Sat night and although there was a little bit of traffic outside, it was nice and quiet inside. It was a short 6 min walk to the Christmas markets & town centre - for anyone with mobility issues the last part of the walk back to the hotel is on a bit of an incline. However, I believe there is a bus & tram stop just opposite the hotel. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The beds were very comfortable and the room was lovely and warm. They offer a buffet breakfast for £15/person. It looked good. Unfortunately we have a coeliac in our group so buffets don’t work for us (cross contamination with gluten very high). Fortunately, we were only a short walk from Isabella patisserie (100% gluten free cafe).
