Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustriaOur room curtain was a bit dirty. Even though we informed the staff and followed their instructions, there was no action taken. The parking spots are also relatively limited; there's a chance you will not find space to park at peak times (we stayed there in August).
The breakfast was great, especially the wide variety of breads and cheeses. The staff was helpful and the location is beautiful and close to the metro and city ferry.

BrazilThe water pressure on the shower is a bit weak. Also, the water from the shower easily leaks onto bathroom floor.
We love the location, in a quiet and pleasant area just beside the metro station. You can get to the city centre in about 10 minutes very easily. Modern and comfortable facilities. Helpful and kind staff. Very clean. Great storage room.

United KingdomFantastic hotel in a newly developed dockside area. Metro is 1 minute away (Orientkaj) which is currently the end of the M4 line. Within 10 minutes reach of central Copenhagen. Great for families, solo and business travellers.

NetherlandsAirconditioning didn’t work properly, to warm inside the room. You could open a window but street very noisy. Room very small and no proper closet to put your clothing in. Coffee/Tea facilities in the room very limited. You should expect more in this price range.

United KingdomFaaaar too many people for breakfast. Very good organisation but still just too many people! Price was really quite high in August. Otherwise all great! Tak!
Great location, nice and quiet area with some coffee shops, restaurants and supermarkets fairly close by. Super convenient to catch the harbour bus to the centre! Room very clean and comfortable, very quiet. Lovely views from the fifth floor! Yummy breakfast, everything is fresh and loved the sustainable approach, avoiding unneccessary containers/rubbish (which is the case in general in DK). Friendly reception and you can store your luggage. Highly recommend!

RomaniaThe rooms had no closets for clothes. Fortunately we went there during the summer and this was practically a very minor inconvenience.
The hotel is quite ok. Although on the map it does not look exactly in city center, most of the touristic objectives are accessible in 10-20 minutes by subway. Or, if you have time, by boat. Both subway and boat are very close to the hotel, 100-200 meters. I liked very much the surroundings of the hotel, tall buildings near water channels, which looked like some scenes from Inception (i.e. house that Cobb and Mal built in their dream).

United KingdomI knew it didn’t have one before I arrived, but I didn’t realise how much I’d miss a kettle in the room. Drinks expensive as well, but that’s Denmark for you!
Now let’s make no bones about it, this is a good hotel, great location close to the metro (which is brilliant btw) great staff, good facilities, comfy bed and great pillows. It’s as advertised, I bought a small room, and that’s exactly what I got, a good small room!

TurkeyAlthough we enjoyed our stay, there are a couple of things that should be highlighted, and we found them a bit odd. First of all, daily housekeeping requires you to fill out a form. It’s a very short form, but since you’ve already filled out many of these forms in daily work life, having to fill one just to get a new towel feels like a hassle that I think could be improved. Just put a smart button. Replenishment and cleaning are average. And there is no mini-fridge in the room. Next is a buy-one-get-one-half-priced welcome drink. You don't know what it is; it's basically a crushed ice drink with juice and some kind of alcohol, claimed to be rum-based. If you're trying to be hospitable and provide a welcome drink, just do it. Don't try to make money while also pretending to be hospitable. The last item, but not least, is the free green lunch, which turns out to be a total scam. According to hotel rules, if you stay four or more days, you're entitled to one free lunch. However, arranging it is a hassle, and if you change your mind, rescheduling involves a lot of red tape. Ultimately, you're served a salad. Yes, I know it’s called a green lunch, but I believe lunch should be much more than what we and other guests receive. You can see the lunch in the picture; it’s served on a plate, not a bowl, btw. In other words, it is a tiny portion. If you're visiting Copenhagen and decide to take a break from sightseeing to save some money on lunch—which makes sense since it’s an expensive city—you end up wasting both time and money, since it's just a small antipasti. Why not offer free breakfast on one of those days, as the buffet generates a lot of food waste? I believe this option would be more sustainable and sensible for the guests.
This is a good hotel located in one of Copenhagen's newly developed neighborhoods. It is easily accessible by public transportation, and there are many restaurants, cafés, and supermarkets nearby. People are friendly and do their best.

ChinaThis hotel is not located in the city centre, and is therefore away from the crowds. Nevertheless, the hotel is very close to the metro station Orientkaj (5min on walk) and is very convenient to go to shopping malls, tourist interests and airport. I particularly like the self-service luggage storage service provided by the hotel, just via the QR code. I will choose to stay here again next time I come to Copenhagen.
