The bar was a little loud some nights outside directly below our room. But it stopped early (11). It was just bad luck to get that room as most were far from the action.

Just a bit pretentious. Outside terrace wouldn’t serve us because they thought it would rain (3 mins down the waterfront we got served). Had dinner at the hotel restaurant one night and they upsold mercilessly. Great location. Renovations obviously cost a lot. They are recouping like crazy. But good basics and a great location.

The only comment we have on what could have been better was that the property was undergoing a renovation while we stayed and as a result to corridor outside our room was being used as storage for linens and other items on carts. We were able to get to our room without any trouble, it just seemed out of character for this beautiful property.

The location of the hotel is exceptional, right in the heart of Copenhagen. The breakfast buffet was incredible and staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We rented bicycles from the hotel while we stayed and they were dependable and comfortable. We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Copenhagen!

We have stayed at this hotel before, but on this occasion we were given a very small room. The passage between the bed and the wall was so narrow that I had to walk sideways, which was very uncomfortable.

The reception they Messed up the payment, they hold amount and at the end they didn’t take from it they do an additional transaction for the actual price.. also they charged me twice (fortunately I got the chance to visit them after a week to check why I got charged twice and their answer was sorry it was by mistake rather than charging your friend we charged you twice !!

Copenhagen weather.

aesthetic, the staff, the service, the room, the location, the facilities, everything was superb. We checked in and got a great room, however because we have difficulty with going up stairs (the beds were upstairs) we had to change and upon requesting this as the reception the kind man who helped us immediately changed the room and made sure we had a great view and spacious room (I think we got an upgrade because this was way better than the one we booked). Everything about our room was amazing. The location of the hotel is amazing, will definitely choose this hotel again when I come to Copenhagen.

The view from our waterfront room was through a teeny, tiny, window. The huge wall next to it, angling into the room, covered by heavy drapes, gave the room a very claustrophobic feel for me. Once I got used to it and over the disappointment, all was well. Everything else about our stay was perfect, including the location! In spite of it not being super busy, it took 20 minutes for anyone to approach me at my table in the outside patio bar. I’m all for the laid back, no rush feel, but it was kind of extreme. Later, my friends had joined me and were hoping for a refill of their wine but after another 20 minutes or so of no one coming over, they moved on to a different location. The waitstaff out there were also not very friendly. When I asked if I could take the marcona almonds I had ordered and couldn’t finish she looked at me a said, “we don’t do that here”… This is why I don’t like writing reviews… it makes me sound like a complainer which I really am not but I was asked so here it is. 😬

They don’t give you even a minute of grace at checkout — the key card is deactivated immediately and the minibar gets blocked.

The breakfast is honestly the best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had in my life. The decoration is charming and the location couldn’t be better.
