How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The only thing that bothered me is that the haurdryers are a little outdated and barely work an there was this bump when you enter the bathroom which is kinda sharp and I cut myself a little on it, but nothing serious and I enjoyed my time there a lot

Verified reviewGreat location very easy to walk/cycle around the city. Ideal that we could rent bikes from hotel.
There was a lot of issues when staying at the hotel. Toilet stopped working twice while staying here. The bath was very dangerous no anti slip mat provided for the room. Step going into the bathroom very dangerous tripped over it a few times. Our fan didn't work properly, had to go to reception to get a new one. Keycard to open our room also stopped working, had to get a new one at reception. We left numerous messages for the manager to contact us and never heard one thing back. The hotel is expensive to stay there for the treatment and service that we received. Wouldn't recommend anyone to stay there.

Verified reviewThe location is absolutely perfect — right in the heart of Copenhagen, within walking distance of all major attractions 🏙️. The room was neat and simple, without unnecessary extras like a minibar or fridge — which I didn’t need anyway. During my 4-day stay, the bed linen was changed three times, and towels were refreshed daily. Housekeeping was done every day. The bed was very comfortable, with crisp, white, fresh-smelling sheets 🛏️. Power outlets were conveniently placed. Breakfast was a delightful surprise! 👍 Smoked salmon, marinated herring (prepared the way only Scandinavians can!), cold cuts, cheeses (with and without mold — soft and delicate — so delicious! 🧀), fresh breads, rolls, toast 🥐🍞, salads, greens, fruits 🍅🍇. From the hot dishes: omelets, small sausages, baked tomatoes 🍳🌭. Also pastries, dairy, muesli, various jams — so much, so tasty, and high quality. The staff at reception were very kind and professional, check-in was quick, the elevator worked flawlessly, and sound insulation was excellent. I slept with the window open, enjoying fresh air. I was given exactly the room I had requested in advance — on the right floor, with a bathtub, and with a view of my favorite city ❤️ Pure joy 24/7! I was truly happy staying here! ❤️❤️
I can't say that anything really bothered me. Just a small inconvenience after taking a bath: most of the water ended up on the bathroom floor 🥺. I dried it with a towel. But I figured out the reason — you must hold the stopper by the chain and let the water drain slowly. Not really a problem, just a detail to know. Some guests may find it a bit noisy at night — but the room provides earplugs. As for me, I was so happily tired from discovering this beautiful city that I slept like a rock 😄 Next time I miss Copenhagen, I’ll hop on a FlixBus and stay at this amazing hotel again! 🚌💫 Huge thanks! 🙏

Verified reviewThere was very little I liked. At best you could say the location was central and close to the train station - however that's if you feel like near enough sleeping on the track as that's what it was like from a noise-perspective!
The room was old and tired. Curtains and decor need a significant upgrade. Old carpet. Bathroom had a horrible stained shower curtain and old fittings. Did not meet expectation. Wifi was intermittent. Very disappointed. Although stated no Air Conditioning - it really needed it and make sure you insist on not having a room on the front of the building as it was extremely noisy - no way you could leave the window open for air.

Location excellent - except the noise of the trains going into the train station - I did not realize the tracks were so close (within 50 m) and trains braking or speeding up 24/7 - so very noisy! But a really nice hotel. The Italian restaurant next door is AWESOME!!! please eat there great food, excellent service and reasonable prices! There is a market just to the left 150m with everything! Walking distance to all of Copenhagen!!!
TRAIN NOISE 24/7!!! The mattresses were horrible and need to be replaced with nice new modern firm ones.

Verified reviewA lovely hotel in a central location. Very close to CPH central station and other transport links. Tivoli and museums/shops/restaurants/pubs are no more than a five minute walk. The hotel was very clean and the beds comfortable. We slept very well, despite the heat (we visited early July). Some noise from the road/trains outside with the windows wide open, but what you would expect from a central location and not enough to keep us awake! The hotel staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. A perfect base to explore a wonderful city. Will definitely stay again, hopefully sooner rather than later.

The room is dusty, specially the carpet and there is a strange smell at the bathroom, the shower head is dirty. Because of dust my allergy triggers that I have rashes all over my face and body. The room is so hot and noisy, I couldn't sleep. I booked for 5 days from August 20 till 25th, but I checked out August 22 and I am asking for refund but untill now Booking.com doesn't replied to me yet. The consolation is that the day shift guy at the reception is really helpful.

No AC so the room gets very hot when windows are closed. They had to be closed because of proximity to the train making the noise unbearable. Hotel should definitely upgrade the windows to be soundproofed.
