Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

PolandShower was just a curtain instead of a proper built one, the kind that floods your whole bathroom if you're not careful. Squeegee provided...
Excellent location - a 2 minute walk to the main Copenhagen train station. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Good value for this price, would gladly visit again

ThailandLate check-in due to a problem with the room reservation. The hotel said they did not receive our reservation details, which took a long time to find a room and the room type was not as booked. The room and toilet is very small.
Location is Good.

IrelandIt's pretty basic, the rooms are fairly small - You only get one pillow and there's nothing in the room apart from the bed, the fan and the bathroom (with towels). Would have loved a small kettle for a cuppa! I had to ask for a second pillow, the towels were slightly raggedy.
The location is great - less than 5 minutes walk to the Central train station and from here you can get to the airport, Malmö, wherever you wish to go! You're also close to the centre of town - I walked everywhere. Considering Copenhagen is expensive generally, the hotel was great value for money. Staff were helpful and when I asked for a second pillow, I got one immediately. The breakfast is fine but expensive - it's pretty basic for the price, but maybe this is standard for Copenhagen. The hotel is also quite committed to sustainability which is good

United KingdomUnfortunately, the checking in process was not very successful as they couldn’t find the booking. I was told multiple times that there wasn’t any rooms booked in my name by multiple staff. Eventually it was explained that the booking information wasn’t transferred over. This process seemed to take around 30 minutes causing significant frustration. However, once we finally got checked in we found the hotel staff very helpful and friendly. The hotel was in a good location although it was a little noisy in the evening.

AustraliaExtremely noisy, people walking down the hall sound like they’re in your room. Water pressure sucks. Absolutely no facilities in the room, no tea, kettle, fridge… nothing. We’ve stayed in almost 15 hotels across Europe in the past 2 months and never have we had this little facilities available. Especially not at this price point! You will be charged 100 DKK per day for a cot… 100 per day, for something that only has to be made up once? Seems a bit greedy.
Great location and large comfortable bed.

United Arab EmiratesRooms are very tiny, bare minimum furniture. STreets are noisy in night, but I had requested a room facing courtyard, which they obliged, so didnt have issue of noise
The location was very good and convenient, Very close to train station and hence easily accessible. The hotel has cycles for rent so no need to go around to search. This was very convenient to move around in Copenhagen

United KingdomThe breakfast does not include anything cooked (unless you want to boil your own egg) which for the price was a bit cheeky. The TV in my room supposedly had BBC World on the menu but it came up with a Swedish channel. There was no other English news channel on the TV. I asked the staff to look at it but they couldn't fix it.
The location is ideal for the central station where you can also get the metro. Just a 5 minute walk away. The room was OK with a large bathroom but with a slightly odd layout in relation to the bed.

ThailandThere's no kettle or glasses / tea or coffee at all in the room, it's not expensive to provide. Also, storing the luggage after checkout is not free, the price is 40 DKK per bag, per 24hrs.
The location is the best for someone who arrive or need to leave by train, as it's close to central station. Very short walk to the metro as well, so great for exploring the city. I actually got my room downgraded due to some issue with the room, but they compensated with free breakfast so it's OK. The room is small but clean and nice design. Bed is comfortable. The staffs are nice and helpful.

CameroonRoom was on the first floor, facing the street, which meant quite some noise from the street at night (lots of traffic on the street as this is a main street to get to the city, and party people on the street as well as it was thursday night.
