You can hear the cars passing in the street which disturbs my sleep. I didn’t have information who to contact outside hours (after 20:00).

Check-in timetable is not convenient, only till 19.00. It was not obvious where to check in. Manager of the gym, for example, had no idea that they have a hostel behind the wall. Bathroom is super basic even without a shelf for a shampoo. You have to make up your bed and take the sheets down when leaving. Noise from the neighbours, noise from the road if you open windows.

No hair blow-dryer in my own room, but not really necessary or a real problem if you can leave your hair just naturally air dry...

I stayed there for 1 night, on my way to Aarhus, and it was absolutely alright for this price. I booked a single room with private bathroom, bedsheets and towels were there and for my separately requested breakfast it was waaay more than enough. The staff was super friendly and amazingly helpful. 🤗 The train station which brings you to the city center of Odense is nearby. Just walk there for approx. 10 minutes, or drive and park your car at the station - park 'n ride 😉. Odense is really nice with some good restaurants for lunch/dinner, cafés and shops. Really worth a visit and for that the Hostel is a good place to stay at. 👍

This was a last minute booking, and it was amazing, it's a sporthotel (apparently it's a thing, it's a gym center with some room), however don' t be put off by this, the room was big clean (with private bathroom), very quiet, and there is a little grill/bar on site, that can fix you up with hamburger and fries really nice after a long day of travel! Plus there are a nuber of activity in the area, worth checking out, sorry no more news about this, i was too tired...

Clean rooms, friendly staff, rural location, linen and towels were included in the price. Other people have complained about the bathrooms, but we had no problems with the showers, the water was nice and warm, had good pressure and no drainage problems. Also, yes, you have to make your own bed, but this is a hostel, not a hotel, this is normal. At least you don’t have to pay extra for the linen/towels. The windows could be opened and easily let in cool air (another common complaint here = hot room). All in all, a much more pleasant experience than expected after all the complaints on these reviews. We didn’t have time to use the facilities (pool/gym/café), but this would be great if you have the time. We brought our own food, I didn’t see the café being open, so I wouldn’t rely on it for food. The children enjoyed the free air hockey and table football. So definitely worth staying for a night or two, and good value for money.
