    It really needed a mirror!

Cabin was small but functional. Beds weren’t terribly comfortable but we only stayed 1 night so didn’t mind too much. My husband is 6ft so the bunk beds felt rather small for him.

I didnt know that I need to bring my own sheets. Borrowing the sheets was for 120 DKK, which is not reasonable, so we slept in our sleeping bags.

Everything was clean and well organized.

Breakfast had good range of choice, but some items rather poor quality (juice, ham). One of three showers and two of four basins in men's washroom were out of order.

The site is superbly designed with good facilities: washrooms, playgrounds etc. Lots of privacy with hedges between small areas.

Expensive, plus linen is not included in the price and is also expensive to rent. I would have installed much more robust hooks because the house has little furniture and space.

A nice place. An excellent breakfast.

It was a wonderful stay. We enjoyed the stay in nature park. There were also a lot of playing areas in and around our cabin. It was really a lovely experience. The cabins were cute,

This particular houses were pretty uncomfortable, especially beds. The space between low and upper bed is very narrow so I hit my head every time I used the bed. The room is pretty small. It was stated as 15m2, but it didn’t look like that. The shared bathroom is 100 m away and you have to go outside to get there, which also was not obvious from the description on booking.

Nice environment. The territory is beautiful and has a lot of interesting spots for kids. So it was real pleasure to walk around. LegoLand and Lalaland is nearby. The town centre, Legohouse, most restaurants and shops are 10 minutes walking away.

    1. The pillows are very old and soft and the filling doesn’t hold its shape at all. 2. Bed linen for rent is not comfortable...especially when you arrive late at night and have to make 3 beds by yourself

When I made a reservation I thought we'll live in a barrel , because only this one was on the picture. And when we arrived was a good surprice to see a small house. Because the barrels were really not big and I'm not sure it is comfortable to stay there with 2-3 kids) . Also barrels are far from the main enterance and breakfast. Our house was ok. Cold water in the tap was not comfortable , but we had an electric kettle , so was better to wash your face and brush your teeth. Outside WC was the first experience for us. If your house is not far from it - it's ok . It's was clean. Also you can use a kitchen there.

The only negative and bad thing is that you have to pay for linen and towel which makes the total price expencive for what you get. If we knew that when we made the booking probably we were to choose different accommodation.

The staff are amazying. So helpful and kind. breakfast and location excellent.

As other options that are part of Legoland this was quite pricy for a wooden cabin without toilet etc.

The Barrels are a part of Legoland Holiday Village, I was staying there with 2 kids after a fulfilled day in the Legoland, the organisation of the place is superb, playgrounds, treasure hunting, barbecue places etc, kids are entertained all the time, even though they were also exhausted after flying in to Billund early morning and spending all day at the Legoland. Location is also great, only a quick walk from Legoland.

The village is brilliant, so many parks to play on for the kids (and adults haha). Our cabin was great, two bunk beds, table and chairs, tv etc. decent sized. Shower/toilet blocks were really nice. Great breakfast 👍

Possibility of dining à la carte and not necessarily and always with the "all you can eat" formula. Possibility of subscriptions for services such as moon-car rental.

Excellent structure, well organized and well maintained, full of spaces and services for adults and children. Cleaning of all spaces, private and common; excellent breakfast, plentiful and well organized with ad hoc spaces for children, excellent services and assistance from the reception and the internal market.

People did not respect resources. They waste water and electricity like crazy. Seriously I have never seen people washing 3 cups for 10 min 😂 using running water or a pot and 3 dishes for 30 min. This was seriously shocking. I was also disappointed that there was no garbage segregation on a site. Apart from glass everything including plastic food paper metal ended up in one bin. It was clearly visible that people just don't care.

I liked the location and surroundings. I liked the idea of the barrel accomodation. The single beds were bit small but comfortable. The elevated beds were much wider and very comfortable. The kitchen was clean. The showers were clean. Only water wasn't hot al the times, but this was because people tend to wash their pots and dishes extensively.
