Superfriendly and supportive host, that made our short stay enjoyable. Beautiful house and location, would like to come back and see more of it.

We had a room next to one of the shared bathrooms and it was very hard to fall asleep when the other guest had showers late in the evening.

I really liked the room and the bathroom. It was really comfortable and the house was old and beautiful. Dave were very nice to us

I would prefer to be able to drink coffee for the breakfast. And also be able to eat breakfast earlier than 8:30. And there was no bodywash in the shower.

    Property response:

Dear guests, thank you for the nice praise and review, we are constantly working to optimize guests' needs, and will of course try to fulfill both soap and guests' wishes. Best regards Dave objerggaard

Very convenient location for our journey from UK to Stockholm, absolutely beautiful property with a stunning arrival along a tree-lined avenue - we felt like we were in a Danish TV series. A gorgeous 1846 building. Our room was spacious, with a private bathroom (if that's important, you need to check availability), and very comfortable bed. It's not modernised, which adds to its appeal, and they make it clear that it is authentically old, so don't expect pristine newness! David made us so welcome, and set out a great Danish breakfast so that we could head off on schedule. And then he called me instantly to tell me I'd left a bag (the one with all our travel docs 😱) so he saved the day!! Thank you, David!! Do be aware that the only nearby food venue is a run-down-looking pizzeria/kebab place in Lundby, but the pizza was fine; otherwise a 30 min drive to more options. The hamlet is a bizarre mix of old, lovely and some run-down properties but if you fancy something unusual, memorable, authentic and welcoming, we highly recommend this beautiful place to stay.

    Property response:

Thank you very much for your visit, it's really nice that you appreciate this old estate, thank you for a really nice review and some nice words, hope to see you again. best regards David Davidsen øbjerggaard Gods

Super nice, cosy, and unique place to stay. A lot of antique furnitures and a extremely nice library. Also in a calm secluded place surrounded by nature. Had a wonderful stay!

I found the price a bit towards the higher end of the range.

    Nothing

Made me do my bed and shouted at me and was no one in reception for an hour till I called

    Property response:

The guest broke into to our private House in the middle of the night (2 am.) shouted in our House and woke up all our guests. We are close for check-in at 9 pm. (the guest did not care) So he was not welcome. He took a room and did not want to leave our House before the next day at 1230 pm. after many Warnings. This booking was not accepted by us.

Very nice old house in a charming Danish village, full of antiques and history. The host was friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable.

It’s a pity they don’t have coffee machine, we missed good coffee in the morning. Only one towel per person in a bed linen set was not enough for us. But all this was not a big problem, the charm of old house overshadowed everything!

Beautiful house w a fascinating history. Lovely B&B. The room was huge even w 4 of us.

I would have loved to have an en suite bathroom (mea culpa as I didn't check before I booked) but for one night it was no issue and the room was beautiful

A wonderful old place with a great sense of history - just ten rooms. We felt very welcomed by the staff, who delivered a very personal service. Highly recommended for a romantic getaway

Our last-minute booking ended up being one of the more memorable stays during our time in Denmark. We were lucky enough to be warmly greeted by Bruno (property manager), who, despite having travel plans that same evening, took the time to give us a full tour of this magnificent estate. Bruno’s genuine passion for the rich history of the property was evident, and we appreciated the antique furnishings and overall grandeur more and more with each detail he shared. I was particularly impressed by the library, and could easily imagine the social events that took place years ago in the lounge area/den, preserved for us to enjoy today as guests. Our upgraded room was very grand, and the bed was luxurious, with high quality linens. A basic kitchen was just down the hall, so we were able to enjoy a cup of tea in the evening. Bruno also recommended that we walk the grounds, which we did at dusk. Though it was a bit misty, we appreciated the old, enormous trees and lovely views. For travelers who truly appreciate the architecture, art and exquisite furniture of times gone by, this is a quiet gem tucked away in the countryside. - Shannon & Dominic (New York)

No complaints. Do keep in mind that if you are looking for a “cookie-cutter” franchise hotel with huge flatscreen TVs and typical modern decor, this may not be the place for you. For history buffs, you will revel in its magnificence!

Bed linen was not provided as standard and was an additional cost. After paying an additional 25% to hire bed linen we then had to make up the beds ourselves. The bathroom was communal which I was not expecting and quite shabby. Basic facilities and basic breakfast. while the lady who booked us in was pleasant enough, there was no one around the premises to offer any level of service after check in. Honestly spend the evening in a shabby bedroom as I found the reception areas cold and uninviting. Left early the next morning after a disappointing breakfast.

    Property response:

Dear Gillen We are sorry that you did not read the important information in your own booking and also not in your booking confirmation. It is written clearly that you can bring you own bed linen for free or you can rent bio linnen packages at our b&b. You picked the room your self (small double room with shared bathroom). You could have choosen a room with private bathroom. Remember this a very historic place and one of the best thing is, that it is keept original, so guest’s here get a 100 % authentic experience.(but you have to Remember that it is a bed and breakfast, not a 24 hour serviced luxus hotel. (which would clearly have suited you better) Regards Ny Øbjerggaard
