Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

DenmarkA better quality breakfast would have been a bonus.
The host was excellent on arrival . Very friendly and served us a long needed drink after walking from Ronnie that same day to stay there. An honesty bar was a welcome addition as we missed any restaurants for dinner.

DenmarkNo staff available at the reception. Small room for the price and bad smell in the hallways. Quite poor breakfast, no healthy choice and already at 9am it was almost finished.
The location facing harbour with a very nice view and walking distance to the town centre. The cosy restaurant for breakfast.

GermanyUnfortunately, our rooms were on separate floors and it wasn't possible to change one of the rooms. That was quite tricky with three small children.
The location is wonderful - seaview from most of the rooms! We also really liked the atmosphere of the breakfast room and our kids loved the dollhouse in this room.

DenmarkMuch to dislike here, I would be wary of the other rave reviews. 1) there was nobody for check in, just some keys on an envelope which made the experience deeply inpersonal for a "family style" hotel. 2) we got room 94 which was a "non sea view" room. The room was in fact a storage room on the backyard of the building. Under the windows other guests were sitting and talking and you could not open the windows without people being able to look in. This made the experience deeply uncomfortable. 3) the room itself had an old, stained carpet which had not been given a proper cleaning in several seasons. It was small, the beds not very comfortable, no space for starage (just a hanger). The bathroom is oldschool and has not been renovated. Be wary of the pictures. 4) the decor was"vintage" in aim, but in reality was just ran down. Tons of semibroken things. 5)breakfast was very simple: bread, cheese, cold cuts and yogurt. The coffee was gasoline in its taste and consistency. We stayed 2 nights and the breakfast was the exact same both days. The breakfast room is hosted in a "vintage" store which means people are buying the very furniture you are sitting on while you are eating your breakfast. Maybe a fun experience for some, but we prefer our early hours to be more private. 6) it was a disadvantatge to book through booking since when asked to upgrate we were told it was not possible due to not having booked with them directly. 7)check out was as unimpressive as check in. Leave the key on this bucket. Bye. Not even "I hope it was all great". Perhaps the assumption is that it wasn't.
The location mostly.

United StatesManager was rude. Although coffee is advertised, he said we couldn't get any. There was no coffee in the room. He gave us a teaspoon of instant coffee for the room. There was no salt and pepper, sugar, oil or one other basic kitchen supply. The kettle wás faulty. No teabags. Worst of all was our room was on the third floor with very difficult outdoor steps. I literally could not use the steps without help. This was not mentioned anywhere on the Booking.com site. We felt we'd been deceived and poorly treated.
Beautiful setting, great views.

RomaniaThe only downside was the shower - very small and with a curtain that blows back to touch you when you shower - kind of weird as you never know how clean the shower curtain is. Other than that, perfect!
Beautiful hotel right by the marina. Nice "living room" area. Short walk to the beach. Very quiet. We assume the staff was friendly - we actually never talked to anyone! Everything was organized so you never interacted with anyone. Beautiful place.
