Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

RomaniaThe cleanness can be considerably improved as the bathroom was not clean, the doors and furniture had stains and fingerprints on them (in the context in which the design of the rooms is black). Moreover, during our 4-days stay, the garbage wasn’t picked up at all. The heating system is not working (it is centrally set up at 21 degrees).
The location is convenient, easily accesibile. The breakfast is really good, with multiple options available. The bed was comfortable and bed sheets clean.

NetherlandsSummer pricing. Absolutely crazy pricing. The bed wasn't queen or double. It was two beds put together. There's no kettle or coffee in the room. No mini bar or even a fridge. The toilet paper holder was broken. The shower is so tiny. There's no place to put anything on the sink. Housekeeping wouldn't remove dirty glasses, had to leave a note. There's no phone in the room so can't reach reception. Forget room service.
The view was spectacular on the 10th floor. The bar is nice. The location is not bad.

NetherlandsDust, dust, dust! The hotel uses a "light cleaning upon request" system for "ecological friendliness" reasons. It feels more like an excuse to save money. If you have allergies like dust or hayfever allergies, do NOT use this hotel. We had the room cleaned daily and still there was a lot of dust. Not just the room but the hallways too. Elevator doors and hallway carpet covered in dust. For a four star hotel, the maintenance was a little lacking in my opinion.
Location is nice, close to Købehavn Zoo. Breakfast buffet is very good. Lots of options and you don't have to get up early to be able to use them. For dinner, the restaurant in the hotel is very good. Good quality and nice portions compared to the price. Around the hotel are a few dinner options buy most are further away. Around the hotel are mostly cafés with lunch options.

United StatesOur only real complaint is that there was NO AC (Air Conditioning). We went during the summer, and the temperatures went up to 82°F
The hotel staff was very nice and accommodating. The hotel breakfast buffet was delicious, and they had many choices! The location was great because we weren't in a huge, crowded tourist area and could jump on the metro to any part of Copenhagen very easily.

GreeceGenerally it was a nice , convenient stay for 3 nights, but somethings could be better. For example, the towels looked old and didn't smell fresh, there was hair on my pillow, and even though breakfast was good, there was no fish at all and no salads , just some row vegetables.
Wonderful location, very close to metro, nice area, a very beautiful park near hotel. They let us checking in earlier than 4.00pm, and the room was nice with a wonderful view of the city. Good breakfast.

United KingdomCorridors leading to rooms were dimly lit and had dirty shabby looking carpets along the way. No phone in the bedroom. If you needed anything you had to go down to the lobby. A real concern if you had a medical emergency. We had 2 electric power cuts in our 2nd room on different days and had to go down to the lobby to report the issue. No in room tea/coffee making facilities, again you have to go down to the lobby and pay for drinks. Paintwork on the door frames was shabby in places. Loud music from the DJ on Friday night until midnight (we had an early departure and it disturbed our sleep). The pinacolada's ordered from the hotel bar were awful. We complained and fresh ones were provided by a different bar tender but were just the same. We told them again and they said they were going to check out the ingredients and offered an alternative drink.
Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful. The reception and bar staff were very helpful. Location - close to metro and walking distance to places of interest. The complimentary welcome fruit basket and little note in our room to celebrate our friendship. The power shower and toiletries. Hairdryer in the room. Our initial room was on the 8th floor which was not reachable by indoor staircase (my friend is claustrophobic in lifts) and had to use an outside fire escape up to the room. A replacement room on the first floor was provided the next day.

ItalyChildren's bed was a little bit creacking. We were unable to definitely switch off the air conditioning system. We don't particularly like the carpeted floor.
We got from Booking.com a a very interesting offer for a junior suite consisting of two communicating rooms with two bathrooms. This was large and very noiseless. Abundant and varied breakfast. Excellent position near the Friedricksberg metro station, from which you can access M1, M2 and M3 lines.

United KingdomI had a problem on the Saturday night , initially it was people or children running up and down the corridors after 10pm , then twice someone knocked hard on my door , I was frightened and as a single lady traveller did not open the door . In the room there is a Safety Booklet in many languages , I looked at this booklet to find receptions telephone number , it said dial 112 - there was no phone in the room . I googled the hotel number , it went to answerphone . There was no way of contacting reception from my room . I was told the next morning that all the phones had been removed from the rooms , clearly the Safety booklet had not been updated too I also realised that in quite an expensive hotel I did not have a kettle and hot drink making facilities , for the price of the room I think this should be included in every room
I love this hotel , I have stayed here before , the hotel staff are so helpful and courteous, cannot do enough for you . The breakfast choice is amazing and always very fresh . The room was comfortable with good air conditioning and a window that opened . The shower was large and worked well

ItalyThe room we were assigned was not very spacious and had a problem with the (small) window. After reporting that the window would not close, a staff member came to close it for us, but then we could not open it again.
The breakfast was amazing, one of the biggest I've ever seen. A buffet with lots of sweet and savoury food. The staff members were very helpful and kind.
