The location and the property itself were really great. Really close to the lake. There were a restaurant and minigolf on site, 2 supermarkets in the city. The house was really nice and comfortable with its own terrace. Inside we had our own bathroom, kitchen with quite everything, nice bed and a living room area. There was a parking lot just near the house.

1. The quality of the cleaning. When we first came into the house and took our shoes off we could feel that the floors weren’t washed. We har a little dog with us, who loves to sleep under the bed. The moment she came from under the bed she was in all kinds of dirt. No one looked or cleaned under it in ages. We also removed the carpet from the living area and were a little bit shocked. Sand, grass and dust from under it. We had to clean it the same moment. 2. We were charged for our dog and we expected this. We didn’t know the amount, I got an email just after I paid for our stay with information about extra fees. 350 dkk for a stay and 550 dkk if something happens. 3. The staff. The communication is quite strange. No politeness at all when communicating by messaging. Just facts how much to pay, when to come.

Breakfast was good, as the selection was not very large, but everything was tasty. The only thing missing was vegetables — there were very few of them. The selection of dishes in the restaurant for dinner was quite poor, and there wasn’t a salads. The cottages are very beautiful, clean, and pleasant. The beds were comfortable. There was a very nice terrace. I liked the kitchen, which had everything needed for cooking.

Our cottage had a view to the toilet, which slightly spoiled the impression of the holiday. However, this applies only to cottage No. 1 — all the others have a nice view.

Pretty much all ok.

Although it was more expensive than before, we were happier with this stay compared to the previous one (where we only had two sayings). We did not have breakfast. I think everything was generally good, but there were a few issues—for example, the pot outside wasn't cleaned, and the bedside tables were loose. That's why I wouldn't rate it as "exceptional."

During the final cleaning, more attention should be paid to the kitchen equipment. When we arrived, the toaster was uncleaned. Some dishes were not clean. The dishwasher containd no dishwasher salt. The first room service showed up after 5 days. However, after that it was perfect.

Breakfast was charged extra (145 DKK), it was a simple continental selection (bread, spreads, eggs, pancakes, bacon). I liked the location, the challet was situated with a lakeview, and a nice terrace where you can enjoy the late afternoon drinks. Just few kilometers from Herning.

As the challet is situated just by the lake, the place was full of mosquitos and other insects which I fully understand that is beyond the influence of the provider. :-)

Stayed in one of the cabins. Wonderful property, very clean, friendly staff, comfy bed, nice breakfast. Would love to come back.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The location is excellent—close to Herning yet beautifully situated by the lake. It’s a perfect place to unwind after an intense day. The peaceful surroundings and scenic views make it ideal for relaxation. Highly recommended!

Was a delightful surprise—delicious and well-prepared. Plus, the bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep.

stayed here before, but first time i’m staying double room. of course other rooms (living area kitchen with one double bed only) is more spacious, since i am staying by myself only, i'd prefer that one. parking is just in front of the house, you have everything you'd need in the room and everything works. there is a lake in front of the hotel, good route for runners and hikers

Not the property’s fault (it’s nature) but there are a considerable amount of spiders around the cabins and going in/out late at night means going through the cobwebs and coin-sized spiders particularly around the end of summer when we visited. Bird feeders to attract migratory birds can help alleviate the issue in the future while making sure the mosquitoes around the lake don’t go out of control
