Room are a bit (too) basic. No shampoo/shower gel, no hair dryer, no fridge. Breakfast also a bit too simple (as we stayed in a period with no brunch offer)

The showers could have been a little cleaner. It also got hot at night (it’s summer so I understand) but the window had no net to prevent bugs.

Free parking, restaurant and vibes were great. Everything was no fuss and the staff were relaxed. The other guests were also very nice.

When we stayed it was unscandinavianly warm weather which meant that the rooms were a bit sweaty without aircon, but that was our choice.

Classic fifties style American motel with an adjacent American style diner restaurant with absolutely amazing burgers. The motel is basic but that's precisely the point of a motel.

breakfast was very nice and plentiful, many types of food all well cooked in a self service buffet style, all unlimited so you wont go hungry, plenty of seating and very clean, i will be happy to return anytime.

Not the first time we stay at Wittrup Motel. We love the place. The authentic American Motel atmosphere is unique. It is not a 5 star hotel, but it is cozy and the set-up is fantastic for a Motel. No doubt we will come back. The restaurant "Sallies" is fantastic. Great food.

There was no shower gel, nor a shampoo: nothing to wash your hair with. There was no boiler for a tea or an instant coffee. This is unusual, nowadays.

Cozy atmosphere, felt like travelling back in time. Excellent diner next to the motel.

We were very happy to experience Wittrup Motel - 3 nights. It was great to be able to park in front of the room. Room was specious, clean, warm and beds were comfortable. I have also asked for the kettle at the reception without any problem or extra charge. All what we needed for our stay. Restaurant (Sallie's) was stylish and fully booked each evening, so when you want to have a dinner there, better to book the table in advance. Food was great. Recommended.

It would have been nice for the room to have a mini-fridge. There wasn't a clear procedure to check out by early morning, luckily a staff member of the restaurant was able to explain.

Location was good, with a gas station and convenience stores nearby. The room was clean, check in was fast. The TV was ok, it allowed us to stream netflix from the phones.

I was quite happy with everything.

I loved the way I could park my car right outside the room. Good size room and a good shower/bathroom. Loved the American Diner attached to the motel. Good, reasonable priced food with music from the 50s and 60s. Really enjoyed the American cars parked around the motel area.

The only thing I could fault was there was no kettle in the room and not enough plug sockets. As a family of 4 the kids needed to charge things too and I had to get up a couple of times through the night to swap electricals over.

It was very central to where we needed to be for a family christening and even though it was metres away from a dual carriage we never heard a single car all night. Overall it was a great room, very spacious, and comfortable beds. The shower was hot even being the 4th person in there!

Good location, nearby Copenhagen in 25 min by car. Sally was a good restaurant, delicious food and good price for Danish prices.

The public transport to Copenhagen could be better. This obviously is out of the motels control, but espescially getting back there in the evening does require a bit of walking and some planning. If exploring CPH was our main goal we probably would have tried to find something a bit closer.

Unique place not far from Copenhagen, and with easy access from the main roads between Sweden/Norway, and ferries going to Germany. American motel standard (supposedly). They have a bar restaurant, which appeared to be popular with the locals. You can park right outside the door of your room for the most part, which was a large plus.

The walls are a bit thin so you could hear the kids next door giggling and talking throughout the night. They eventually settled down though, so all was well.

I really liked the staff. Both check in an the restaurant staff were suuuuuper friendly. I felt very welcome at the motel. The food at Sallie‘s was very good as well. I had the burger, my sister had the fish & chips, and we had the homemade lemonade. Absolutely amazing. Breakfast, too. On the weekend we even got pancakes.
