Breakfast was very basic, would be nice to have a cook breakfast at no extra cost. Location was excellent, no problem getting around the town, very central.

Not enough space to move about for a double size bedroom. Having a fridge with no ice facility in this temperature was disappointing.

The location was perfect for walking to Roseau and back. The room was clean, well organized and comfortable. Breakfast was great! The staff was welcoming, friendly and responsive to requests. I will stay at St. James again in the future.

Breakfast was good. Fresh fruit was provided daily. I would have like more variation in the choices offered. Eggs, fish and any breakfast meats incurred additional charges. The staff was very helpful and treated you like family. The location is a very safe place to stay. The rooms were kept clean and if any error happens the staff were always ready to make amends.

I didn`t like that the restaurant at the guesthouse was closed for the days I was there.

Comfortable and clean room. Street parking nearby. Super friendly and helpful staff. Big variety of fruit at breakfast and can order add-on eggs, etc.

Excellent breakfast.Every day a superb collection of fresh fruits and breads and butter n jams.Only if you wanted eggs you had to pay a small amount

Great for a one night stay as close to ferry terminal. Breakfast was fantastic. Friendly and welcoming host.

Be warned that although it advertises a restaurant and bar these didn't exist for the night we were there.

Friendly staff and a great location. The AC is really powerful to cool the room quickly and I loved the breakfast!

Nothing really

The staff were super helpful and friendly. The location was close to the downtown, bus stops and ferry terminal. The continental breakfast was wonderful with a coffee machine and a great variety of fresh fruit.

The neighborhood was noisy. But it was Friday night and things quieted around midnight.

The employees were great. The location is convenient but the surroundings are not very nice. The hotel is convenient and very clean. Too bad the restaurant was closed.

Nice staff, comfortable room with good facilities, everything close by, city centre in walking distance.

Food was available. Talking with the staff they even opened the breakfast bar early for me so I could eat for doing the boiling lake hike. Nice looking guest house. Area around it was a little run down but very safe to walk around in.

They were accommodating with my arrival time that I had to change last minute. Breakfast was healthy- a lot of fresh local fruit available alongside cereals, coffee and toast. Owner’s son who was managing guests at the time I was staying was very polite, friendly and helpful. Definitely made me feel more comfortable staying there on my own for the first time. He also helped me sort out a taxi service to get to and from my event.

It wasn’t very clear at the start what breakfast consisted off i thought there may be more selection for hot breakfast options (if it was available o just wasn’t very aware). Communication prior to my stay could've been better meaning calling the contact number to the hotel (no one had answered on the multiple occasions I called). Having to call booking. Com to get through to the hotel was a bit annnoying. However, it may have been a one off situation as failure to answer was for good reason (personal medical situation from the owners side of things). So knowing that there is hardly anything to complain about. (Water pressure could be better on the shower from the room I was staying in but that could be an island quirk rather than a hotel issue).

A great place to stay in Roseau. It is away from the hustle and bustle of the centre in a quiet area. The AC is really powerful and the bed comfy. The hotel is close to many of the parking areas for the minibuses. Staff are helpful and friendly and the breakfast was great.
