The host was readily available. He was extremely helpful with all our needs. I would recommend others looking for an authentic experience stay here. You will truly get a feel for island living.

The host is super nice and helpful. The apartment is simple but has everything you need including warm water, which is rare in the Dominican Republic. :) The location is good: 20 minutes away from the airport and 20 minutes away from the beach. There are many cafeterias, restaurants, supermarkets...within a short walking distance.

It was a bit hard to find at night and the neighborhood is under a lot of construction - surely it will be easier in the future. We were able to walk to the store for groceries and find a spot for breakfast, but it wasn't the loveliest of walks.

The owner was welcoming and very helpful. We got free water and cookies, which was heaven after a long trip and no energy to go out. We were able to pay with dollars when the card reader didn't work, thank goodness the owner had change. The apartment was comfortable.

Great location for short stays close to the airport in Punta Cana. Jacopo is also a great host who will help with any info! we stayed in two rooms one when we arrived to DR and one later on in the trip and we found them to be great! simple but well equipped with ac and a fan.

The neighborhood at night was a bit creepy, make sure your uber/taxi drops you at the right spot so you don’t have to walk around.

We needed an affordable and strategic first night stay nearby the airport after we landed late at night. The check in was very flexible and the apartment owner provided us with many useful information along with good overall communication. The apartment itself was cozy, the AC and Netflix worked and a cold water was offered, something what was very appreciated from our end. It is no high end hotel, but it’s a good value for money, also the proximity to the bus station is a big plus.

I would have preferred if I was told before arrival that payment was only available in cash or with an added percentage to use card. I thought booking.com had already charged me, so I did not ensure I had enough cash on me to pay and then had to pay the additional percentage to use my card as there were not any atms nearby.

The apartment is easy to get to with a taxi / car from the airport, quiet at night and well provisioned. Wifi is excellent and the host was lovely.

Some amenities listed in the description were not included. Say, the apartment had neither electric kettle nor coffee/tea maker. We boiled water in a pot. “Toiletries” consisted of some substance in a shower holder (I assume it was a pretty bad soap). All in all, my stay would have been better if the description matched the reality. Also several times someone was smoking right outside of the window. I’m very sensitive to tobacco smell, and this created some discomfort.

Great location — we went out to eat nearby and we felt absolutely safe. Jacobo, the host, was very friendly and helpful. The apartment in general is pretty lovely.
