It was a bit small but understandable. However, the terrace was huge and great space to have a meal and enjoy nature.

The sink is too small in the bathroom and the shower too low. For a one night stay it was fine with me. It was difficult regulate the hot water in the shower. Otherwise, no issues. The host was very nice and made good suggestions on restaurants and fun activities to do in the area.

You really need a car if you are going to stay here. The location is a 20 minute walk (at least) away from everything. He only accepts cash, which is a huge problem if you don't have it because you have to go into town for the closest one. Bring ear plugs because the roosters start at 6am. Obviously can't fault him for that but it's just a warning

The apartment was gorgeous. A/C is good. The wifi is okay. My computer kept connected but my phone kept cutting out the whole time so it's not super strong

Really nice and clean apartment with AC, small kitchen and balcony. There is a peaceful garden area with pool and place to chill, available to all guests. The host is very nice and he helped us with recommendations for activities, restaurants and things to do in the area. Apartment is only a walking distance away from center, where you can find supermarket, bars and restaurants.

Having to walk on main road to get to Jarabacoa- mosquitoes were bad but these cannot be prevented by the hotel!

It was a little noisy as people shared by the pool. I thought it would be more quiet, but not a big deal. I would definitely return and recommend this place.

The guests were really friendly and made wonderful recommendations on where to go in Jarabacoa, also the AC was wonderfully cool, as it is summer. I highly recommend Yaguacil!

The bathroom could benefit from a small makeover (e.g. the shower wasn't draining properly)

We spent 3 lovely nights at El Yaguacil. Victor was very welcoming and provided us with plenty of recommendations for visiting. The place itself is clean and furnished with the basics for a few days, especially if you do not want to go out for dinner (Netflix is also available on the TV). The hotel is very peaceful (really offer the possibility to disconnect) and well located (a few minutes drive from city center). Whether it's inside or outside, at breakfast with a cup of coffee or evening with a glass of wine, we enjoyed very much this place!

It's is useful to have a car to move around. Taxis are not my thing. I prefer Uber and there is very little Uber service around

This is an amazing apartment with your own little private jungle right next to it. We really enjoyed the calm and peaceful environment of Jarabacoa, and this reflected itself on this apartment. The host only spoke Spanish but really did his best to be helpful and gave us all the information required for our stay there. We received a complete list of activities via WhatsApp. The room itself was clean and all the facilities mentioned were available.

Whilst we stayed, some of the other guests were quite loud until very late in the night - unfortunately this did keep us up.

The host was very nice and was willing to help us with what we wanted for the trip. It's also located a short walk from town, we walked in and out of town every day for meals and activities. There has been lots of effort and time put into the garden and it's a very peaceful place to be. It's kept very clean and is lovely.

The hotel had some significant issues that affected our stay. There was a lot of noise, making it hard to relax. The toilet in our room didn’t flush properly, and the shower drain was not fully functional, causing water to pool. Overall, the price is too high for what they offer.

The hotel was beautiful and cozy. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The common areas were comfortable and had a relaxing atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and always willing to help.
