Everything was to my standards. Perfect! It was a Phenomenal stay at Garden By The Sea, first you are greeted by the most wonderful host Nikki who made our stay so pleasant and was always so attentive and made sure we were comfortable. We stayed with a group of Family 12 of us and had the most amazing time. This place is so clean and peaceful and lots to do in the area. The breakfast was amazing at the time we stayed we paid $10 per person for a delicious Dominican breakfast, fresh fruits as well. I wish we could have stayed longer in this piece of PARADISE 🌴 I would definitely recommend if your staying in Sosua. Thanks again Nikki for your great service.

The property is located in a closed area which is a huge advantage safety-wise, but it can be hard to get around without a car or a taxi. I didn’t realize it when booking, so it took me some time to find my way to get around. It also means there are not so many eating and shopping options nearby.

The hotel itself is not very big, so it felt like I was visiting a friend in the suburbs: it’s very quiet and you literally live in the garden, full of trees, flowers and birds. I was there in off season, so I was the only guest and I had the pool to my own. The room was super cozy and comfortable, I had everything I needed. I liked Nikki’s attention to details everywhere around the property: starting with styling of the room and ending with beach stuff available for you (like umbrellas, beach fridge, etc). Breakfasts were simple but very delicious. There’s a kitchen outdoors with BBQ facilities. The whole property is behind the barrier and the territory felt very safe, there are also several parking spots at the property. Each room has its own internet router, and the quality was pretty good. At first I couldn’t find a way to the beach, so ask for directions in advance, but when I finally got there, I could see why people were saying about semi-private beach in reviews: not very big, quite clean, no restaurants or sunbeds (although might be because I was in off season there). Bella-the-dog was accompanying me to the beach and guarding me there all the time :) there are also three very cuddly kitties on the territory :) Overall I liked the place very much, Nikki is super nice and helpful, it felt like home. I will definitely recommend this place and stay there again if I’m back to the country.

Lovely place to stay. Really close to the Airport. 5 minutes walk to the beach. Delicious breakfast. Rooms are super clean and quiet we had wonderful rest.

The place was very clean. I was welcomed by the host, Nikki, and her team. They were awesome! Nikki was always checking to see if I was ok and if I needed anything from the store. I also felt very safe here. The a.c worked great! I will definitely use this place again when I return to Sosua.

I was kind of confused at first, but then I found my way around. Nikki was great and I will recommend. It’s a nice quiet place me and my husband had the whole place to ourselves, so it was great.

This accommodation is just what you need to enjoy Sosua and surrounding the best. Thanks to the lovely host Nikki who cares great for her guests and it feels like family. The rooms are very tidy and the furniture & fittings modern and beautiful. You really feel relaxed, the moment you are there. very beautiful Garden/ pool area and even the option to make BBQs. It is an oasis for spending holidays. If we travel back to Sosua for sure we will book Garden By the Sea again.

Nothing really. It was a little hard to find, but that could have been the fault of our taxi driver. We did have an interesting tour of Sosua on the way, however. :-)

The room was comfortable and quiet. Nikki is a lovely host. Breakfast was great. We were only there for 12 hours - a last minute, emergency booking - but it was the perfect place to decompress a little and relax.
