Outlets were awkwardly placed in my room and the lighting is quite dim. A filtered water option would be nice instead of plastic bottles.

This hotel is such a sweet oasis in busy Boca Chica. The staff is wonderful, the artwork is lovely and the thoughtful layout of the rooftop terrace is much appreciated. The breakfast is top notch! Cutest and best little spot to eat in BC.

Only a few minor details that weren't quite finished to a high standard but nothing that caused a problem

We booked this hotel to drop my boyfriend off at the airport in the early hours of the morning. It is only a 10-15 min drive to the airport, the surrounding area felt safe despite driving back alone as a women at 4am. The room was spacious, bed was comfy and it had good air conditioning. There is breakfast included in an attached restaurant, the Dominican breakfast was delicious and i loved the design of the restaurant. The hotel even has a little pool which i got to enjoy before leaving as check out is later than most hotels. This was perfect for what we needed it for and i will definitley come again if i have an early/late flight.

Can say there was anything I didn’t like

Location to the airport very close. Everything is at the hotel, it’s secure, pool, jacuzzi, close to the beach, restaurant on premise. I remember Boca Chica to be a beautiful fishing town, but it has grown up and it’s very busy. Reminds me of Burbon st. now. Can be a little sketchy

The wifi didn't work in my room. The lights in my room was extremely dim and one didn't work. I informed the front desk and was told it would be fixed. Never fixed while I was there.

The hotel is really close to the beach. The bed is comfortable. The shower had hot water. The restaurant has amazing pizza. Try the 4 Formagi pizza.

The internet was no good, The smart tv, wasn’t very smart, not able to watch anything, no Netflix, YouTube or anything. Overall the room was ok but could use some updates

We had a discussion with the receptionist over the price of our rooms, because Booking.com's confusing system meant that the "Total" price shown on our booking did not include taxes.

Interesting hotel with stairs and corridors in all directions. The room was comfortable and there was a large communal balcony area overlooking the street outside which is closed to traffic in the evenings. Its closeness to this street with its restaurants and bars and to the beach makes it very conveniently located. Breakfast was pretty good. Secure parking at the hotel.

There were no towels in the room when we checked in. We only got it 1 hour later when it was out of the dryer. The receptionist, when asked to speak in English because only my friend understood Spanish and I didn't, continued speaking in Spanish (even though she could speak English) as (in her words) it was good opportunity for my friend to practice. We were not given safe key initially and got it only after request. Please note that hotel doesn't hold itself responsible for anything that is not kept in the safe. Breakfast staff was (especially young girl) was not very friendly.

The bathroom was smallest bathroom ever and not so efficient. Very bad. Who is from Europe, you will need the wall socket adapter, so if you want to charge your cell phone or use the phone the guy that works there will tell you that he will buy it for you for 500 pesos (8€), the second time (after the first one got broken after two days) he asked 250 pesos more (so 750 total which is around 12€!!!) because it was late and he said he had to go who knows where to buy it, so be careful and take your own adapter for wall socket. On Amazon i found 3 pieces for 5€.

Near the beach, bed and the pillows were very comfortable, nice restaurant for breakfast, warm jacuzzi.

It was a little bit of a maze to find your way around to the rooms, the fixtures in the bathroom were old and should’ve been upgraded

The location is wonderful, it’s a quaint boutique, Hotel. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Food was wonderful.

Staff did profile us as visitors with another agenda which us very unproffessional. Multiple times during check in staff mentioned no visitors were allowed and asked us if we are married. Also there was no trust by staff that we would pay our coffee and lunch bill, they came to us asking to pay several times while we were just sitting on the terrace without any attempt to run and our flight details were known to staff. With check out our rooms were looked over very thoroughly for no reasons at all. Why??

unfortunately some “local security” are nearby and I was warned by the hotel staff not to engage with them which made it a bit uncomfortable. Decided not to go out of the hotel throughout my short stay.

Great location near the beach. Superb service by Eli which kindly gave me early check-in and a bigger room. Fast wifi. Water in the room tastes funny so not advising it to brush your teeth. There’s a cafe downstairs which provides set breakfast and meal after 3PM. All meals I had were delicious.

All though there are some spots near to the hotel that are worth visiting, I found Boca Chica as a whole quite unattractive.

All though all the staff was very friendly, Eli, the reception lady, is an absolute gem worth mentioning. She is funny and attentive and made sure to make our arrival a pleasant one. The room was clean and comfortable. The shower was good. The hotel has several little chillout spots, including two pool areas which were quite nice. The art in the hallways is quirky yet tasteful. All though I did not particularly like Boca Chica itself, I would recommend this hotel as a place to spend a little time right before or after a flight.
